I think it makes more sense, story-wise. I'm not entirely caught up on the current Thor comics but it seems like doing it this way will make for an easier transition.

Don't let it get to you too much. Kids are easily scared. Have you seen them around, say, mall Santas? They're not scary at all (well...most of them) and yet kids cry around them.

That part doesn't bother me because Thor has always been a Marvel character independent from the myth. I mean, a frog has had the powers of Thor before in the comics. Compared to that, this is nothing.

I've met a few. None into me.
Of course I never asked. I'm particularly timid, especially around cute boys.
Not to mention the whole anatomy thing. That's where most guys in the US would be turned off and leave.
