It sounds as though it's a lot like being the arch-nemesis of Doctor House, which sounds like it'd be hella fun.

I don't remember having any recent brain injuries... eh, that's probably just the brain injury that I've apparently sustained talking

It's a pretty dangerous territory to tread when you're equivocal as I am - you have to choose your words very carefully to avoid being jumped upon. That makes me wordy.

You're telling me. I speak up and say what's on my mind, and now I'm on the defensive. It's depressing how everything is seen as black and right, for or against.

I think of it as an educational experience - I'm certainly a lot more sympathetic than I used to be towards people who make claims about progressive "hiveminding" and closing ranks. I was pretty much hounded out of a forum recently where I thought people would know a heck of a lot better (with a mod, no less, sending me ranting messages about how diversity of opinions was appreciated but I was ruining the forum :palm:).

I'll stand my ground, regardless. Feminism is not a one-for-all collective, and I will happily criticise one section of it and praise others where I feel merit and derision are deserving.

First time I've woken up from a decent dream in a while.
Let us not seek the Republican answer or the Democratic answer, but the right answer. Let us not seek to fix the blame for the past. Let us accept our own responsibility for the future. - John F. Kennedy
You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain.
The best argument against democracy is a five-minute conversation with the average voter.
Power corrupts; absolute power corrupts absolutely
He who sacrifices freedom for security deserves neither.
