No, there's seriously a cartridge of the whole text of the bible for Game Boy. It's like an e-book, except far worse.

That book is more science/evolution-oriented, isn't it?

Christian here. I can't find any contradictions in it. Care to point out some?

There are websites for that as I do not wish to go on a rant here or dwell too much on the subject (textually speaking, the 4 Gospels aren't all that consistent either), but I'd draw your attention to the difference between Christ's and Paul's stances on faith in practice. There are also instances of incest (the early Patriarchs) and adultery (David), among others.

Whether you wish to view that as proof of the humanity of the divine intervention in the story, or the diversity of those who participated in it, or the scriptures' inconsistency as a whole and its status as a glorified piece of literature, is entirely up to the reader. I won't dictate on believers, skeptics or atheists. I just call it as I read it. Interpretations vary and I respect that.

I'll have to find out more about the Christ-Paul differences.

In the case of the early Patriarchs, there weren't exactly that many people around, so incest would have been the only way to carry on the family line. In the case of Lot and his daughters, that's an example of backsliding.

David's adultery, on the other hand, was an example of Man's evil nature. The important thing is that he repented of it after that.

Not quite. Dawkins, after explaining how genes, which are self-replicating molecules, pretty much dictate how life works as an instrument to allow genes to continue replicating, also said that there was something similar in human culture. Cultural phenomenons that manage to stay in the minds of people for prolonged periods of time are considered memes.

My approach to Evangelism is different. I don't believe in mindlessly criticising other religions. Rather, I prefer to just share about Christ, clarify any doubts as well as I can and let the person decide for himself.
