I'd definitely be on board, hopefully the MSA and and our leadership we'll be too.

Glasgia, MSA leader, is more or less starting it, and I'm discussing it with the FSP members. If the Free Communists would join, we will be set to have a powerful 25+ senators in the party. Making us, undoubted, the largest and most powerful single party in the senate. Now...the Progressive Front might eventually beat us.

The Progressive Front may beat us, but we would reming them that the movement to the left of them is well and alive in Heldmark (my Senator's of Swedish descent, so I have to refer to whatever you call this country as Heldmark). Also if the Progressive Front can't find a parliamentary majority, they could hopefully turn to us, allowing more socialism.

I oppose. I am in favor of joining a coalition with the two, but I want to remain a separate party. We can find agreement on enough issues to form a coalition, but we still have ideals that separate us as parties.

I would be willing to accept a merger if the rest of the party goes for it but it is still something I personally would prefer to avoid. I could not accept it however if certain members were included. CTALNH is in your party. If we are going to pretend to be in favor of freedom and socialism while had boring authoritarian state capitalists then I do not see how we could possibly hope to get anywhere. The New Sea Territory wrote:Threlizdun wrote:I oppose. The KL works as a tent party, in which the independent parties become factions within the party. They become unofficial but still existent. And, the FSP is open to all left-libertarians. The main difference between you and us is you are more exclusively communist while we are all forms of radical socialism. We could easily work together, that difference is not that big. The Market Socialists are also not too different, though I would say more moderate than the two of us.

I'm against a merger.

No, he is an authoritarian state capitalist who admitted that he wants a dictatorship just so he can have power. He may RP as a Marxist-Leninist, though he insists that such a definition strictly applies to Stalinism and that policies following Stalin's death were revisionist. Regardless of how you look at it, he is an authoritarian state capitalist with nothing to offer the socialist cause. We made the mistake of forming a coalition with him once. We're not making the same mistake again and we are especially not forming a party with him. If we did merge and he was in the party I would leave. The New Sea Territory wrote:Threlizdun wrote:I would be willing to accept a merger if the rest of the party goes for it but it is still something I personally would prefer to avoid. CTALNH is a marxist-leninist. Not the most pure definition of what we are looking for, but he still fits here. Just, loosely.
