So, I've made a tentative map of the mainland area that I outlined.

Actually IRL it has roughly 12 million.

From Venezuela:
Zulia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zulia
Total Pop: 3,704,404 (1st)

Mérida: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M%C3%A9rida_(state)
Total Pop: 843,800 (14th)

Táchira: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/T%C3%A1chira
Total Pop: 1,177,300 (9th)

Falcón: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Falc%C3%B3n
Total Pop: 950,057 (11th)

Trujillo: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trujillo_%28state%29
Total Pop: 711,400 (17th)

Lara: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lara,_Venezuela
Total Pop: 1,774,867 (5th)

and the Colombian divisions of:
La Guajira Department: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/La_Guajira_Department
Total Pop: 902,386 (20th)

Cesar Department: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cesar_Department
Total Pop: 1,004,064 (16th)

Magdalena Department: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magdalena_Department
Total Pop: 1,235,425 (14th)

Bringing the total pop of the area to 12,303,703, and the total contribution from Venezuela to around 9 million people, still leaving them with 21 million.

I decided that those areas were eating up too much land. So, the total population of the area is 10,282,603. Venezuela's contribution is roughly 7 million people, and they still have about 23 million people. If we add islands, we can easily add another 10 million to our total population.

I feel weird taking Venezuela's second largest country but, since it seems everyone else is okay with it, as long as we don't have Barquisimeto, Venezuela's forth largest city, and Barranquilla, Colombia's forth largest city, I am on board. I feel like we are taking a lot from the neighbors (over twenty percent of the population would be like taking from the US all of the states west of Texas).
Hey, it is Parhe :D I am always open to telegrams.

Why are we doing this again? I thought it was agreed not to take other country's land.

By whom? It was agreed not to take over countries entirely. We should put it to a vote in the general thread.

Actually, if my memory serves me correctly, we agreed to not RP as another country.

This is true, and we can make the area smaller.

There, I've made it hug the coast. That probably makes it better suited to islands as well. I'm not exactly sure what the population is, but I've cut off about 60% the land.

During the Admin vote, I was quite disappointed as it appeared that some people voted along partisan lines. I saw leftists voting only Aye for Malgrave and some right-wing people only voting Aye for me. Of course I can understand if you have personal reasons for voting a certain way about a particular nominee, that is alright.

Just don't try to make it into a partisan vote. The Administration is completely OOC and the vote should be made on whether you think that player is worthy of the position based on their merits, not because they agree with your politics.

I noticed the same thing. Petty partisan politics is no reason to vote "nay."
