We should make it no more than 7 million, with maybe one large port city as the capital and the other population centers would be villages and small cities.

People complained about being in Europe, but then try to make a European Country...in Latin America. What was the point of complaining about Europe, If we simply plop a nation like Europe down.

If that is the complaint why not use some native language or creole instead of Spanish? English is hardly more "European" than Spanish is. As for white, maybe that could be a case of minority privilege. Other people were talking about the "positives" of being a poor country and this might help with the stereotypical poor nations where the white minority has disproportional power. I am sure at least some people will be open to playing as "Non-White."

Only six Latin American countries have more than twenty million inhabitants (Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Peru, Venezuela), and for the most part, they're pretty large in area. I feel like about ten million will be good. With ten million in population and per capita at around fifteen hundred the economy will be about the size of Vietnam or Bangladesh.

No, if you set a GDP per capita having more people increases the GDP not shrinks the GDP per capita.

Per capita=GDP/Population
