We need a generally centrist-sounding name then. Any suggestions?

EDIT: National Democratic Party sounds nice. (Credit to Corenea)

I still would prefer to avoid the word "National," but "National Democrats" would work.

I see where you're coming from, and I agree, but it's the most balanced name on the table so far. Still open to other suggestions, if you guys think you have a better name. Otherwise, I support NDP (I never thought I would say that in my entire life).

I would have gone with something else, but we're trying to appeal to moderates and center-rightists with the name. Plus, we have already drafted some legal documents IC with this name, so it would be difficult to change.

So call it the Liberal Conservative Party. What you are proposing sounds very like liberal-conservatism to me anyway.

That sounds a lot better, and still balanced (only without allusions to nationalism, which is good). I support 110%

I prefer National Democratic Party. Internal contradiction in terminology of Liberal Conservative Party will just provide ammunition for opposition.

What are the parties on the left going to look like? We can't let the right have a monopoly on way too long naming discussions for nonexistent political parties!

Traditionally, that's a left-wing thing on NSGS :P

Actually, I think we should probably wait for the country to be selected to decide a name. It will allow us to choose a name appropriate for the place.
