So, the basic jest is that once I have successfully moved, I plan on starting an RP. This RP is set in a world that I have largely defined with some friends. Not all of the world's information is completely relevant to the main setting of the RP, though all of it is mostly cultural, geographical, and historical information, nothing reaching past the date of the RP. While it all may not be relevant to the first RP, I do plan {with luck} to turn the world itself into an RP series. On-top of that I would also like to use what happens in the RP as historical fact [it take place during an important event], as well as incorporate the creations of those participating into the world's lore and history itself.

My main question is what exactly do you think I should do about getting all this information and lore to people in a decent fashion?

I have considered starting a world building thread, however I feel that with such a large portion of the setting having already been molded, it might be wiser to put the information into something else. Though as stated, I am wanting to allow people to incorporate their own ideas into the official world canon, so a world-builder might still be a good route. I don't think it would be a good idea to stuff all of it into the OOC OP. My idea is to possibly start an archive thread to place the information, link it in all the future OOC's, update it regularly, and inform people that if desired their creations RP wise could become official canon. I just want to know what all you more experienced RPers suggest I should do, I sort of want to get a game-plan going so I can launch when I get set up in my new home.

I'd suggest either a factbook, in the NS forum or your personal nation factbook, or a free wiki, from Wikia or like websites. I've personally used both, and they both work; both can be linked and accessed, and can be structured quite easily.

CSA independence would probably caused enough ripples that the Nazis don't, I think. I mean, they were gone before Germany even existed.
Though, you could manipulate it, I suppose.

CSA independence would probably caused enough ripples that the Nazis don't, I think. I mean, they were gone before Germany even existed.

Yeah. If you could find a way to do it, I'd love seeing the USA invaded in the mainland by a viable enemy. I can just smell Japanese occupied California.

I had considered that, actually. But, Realism wouldn't do it very well, as no one in the Imperial Military believed they could do it without being crushed and humiliated.

Alaska and Hawaii, maybe, but in terms of AH Pacific War stuff, I was considering a Japanese Invasion of Australia and the subsequent Australian theatre.

Perhaps if the CSA won a land victory, though, it could ask for Japanese help in occupation while it continued into Canada.

Though, a mainland invasion of Australia would be cool too. As an Australian, I can see the soldiers running off into the wild to set up hundreds of camps everywhere and harassing the Japanese until they all have to be sent home for mental illness.

B) Curb-stomp battle, without a doubt. WW2 is still intact, and even if not, the world is still recovering and many nations are not at its best defensive and offensive capabilities.

So the future home of the hippies seems like too formidable a target, but the continent where every single living thing is trying to brutally kill you isn't?

The aliens could simply have less advanced weapons tech, putting them on somewhat more even footing with man.

Hmm... Maybe... Just maybe... But I've just started on this Australian Invasion idea, so maybe next time.

I figured that the Japanese would land at Darwin and Cairns, and we'd see American, New Zealander, and Australian troops attempting to liberate much of Northern Australia from the Japanese.

A) There was a Coup that occurred in August of 1945 (that failed IRL), that intends to continue fighting the Americans and the Allies.
B) It'd be more of a nation-based version of an attempted RP I did earlier

The thing is, that in the USA, you die because people are shooting at you, but in Australia, you die because everything but the people (including the sun) are trying to kill you, and the people you are trying to kill are nowhere to be seen.
