That could also work. It's a little too decentralized and heterogenous, though. The E.U. at least has an actual functional parliament with actual representatives.

Detailed Description: A pre-apocalyptic role-play. A nation-based (or faction-based) role-play of 21th Century imperialism (twenty cents for your arm, leg and first born child, deal?), genocidal warfare (raze their cities, plutonium-poison their farmland, punish them for their aggression!), desperate resource shortages (no, we ran out of oil twenty years ago) and the collapse of collective security (tell ya what, you ignore my atrocities and I'll ignore yours). Each player represents the government of one major power or an international organization. The players must lead their chosen nation or organization through the extremely painful resource shortages of the 21th century as well as navigating the unique challenges posed by a changing world.

Need Help With: Checking for interest, seeking any and all ideas for this. Feedback will also be welcome.

The People of the United States are hungrier than ever for wealth. Food, water, power, steel... a million things that our predecessors took for granted but we, thanks to the Oil Crisis of 2021, cannot. Here in the United States lies the great factories that is the lifeblood of the American nation.

And there in the African plains lie the metal and oil to power them. The metal and oil that we need.

This would be a really simple venture of conquer-and-take, except that we're not the only country after it. As long as those idiots in other countries keep using stuff, we cannot.

Every barrel of oil running a Chinese car is one American who have to walk. Every bar of steel for the Russian railways is one bar of steel less for the revitalization of Detroit. Every gram of lithium for the European power grid means one less for our batteries.

It is about time we take what is rightfully ours. By killing everyone else, if need be!

The People's Republic is no longer the destitute third-world nation it was sixty years ago. Our industry is modernized. Our people prosperous. Our military powerful. Unfortunately, our modern industry needs modern materials. Petrol, uranium, bauxite and a thousand other things.

The materials, that is, which are already snatched up by the Western imperialists. The Nigerian oil fields are under 50-year contracts with American entrepreneurs. The North Koreans promised the Russian government all their uranium surplus.

The rich westerners keep using up the materials that we need. China lacks oil to power its transports. Bauxite to build its electronics. Uranium to power its cities. If we wish to acquire them, then the rich westerners must stop using them.

We must reduce their consumption. By killing them all if we have to!

- RP's Overarching Concept: Massive paintball war taking place between Red and Blue sides on a huge K-12 School campus, circa late 1980's or Early 90s, using technology from the present during the RP (80s-90s video games, etc).
- Genre/s: South Park level Comedy (references of 80s-90s movies and video games), Romance, Action, Epic, Faction/Military, SCHOOL
- Character or Faction Based: Both, character for students/faculty, faction for the two teams and smaller the splinter groups who want the "prize" all for themselves.
- Detailed Description: This RP tells the epic, emotional, and comedic tale of a long, large-scale paintball battle war taking place on the fictional, Massive K-12 college preparatory School named WOODBRIDGE ACADEMY in Somewhere, Maryland, dated some time between the 80's and 90s, when video games were hot and action movies were hip. This also depicts the subsequent FBI paintball siege of the school, and reveals which faction (or person) would be the ultimate champion of the Largest School-wide paintball battle in history, that took place back in the summer of '80 something.
The prize? Exemption from exams.

What I was thinking was that the RP starts on the morning of the 21st, with the Soviet Army in the streets.
Players would role-play as either the people/protesters of Prague or the occupying soldiers. I dunno. Something like that.
