RP INTEREST AND FEEDBACK REQUEST

Please provide as much detail as possible.
RP's Overarching Concept: A paralell world where various P.O.D. has changed the today world of ours.
Genre/s: Alt-his, Cold War
Character or Faction Based: Faction
Detailed Description:In a universe parallel to ours, various nations appeared from series of P.O.D. You will play as any nation you want, as long as your history isn't contradict other nations, from Communistic America to survived Monggol Hordes! You can play any part of your nation but stay realistic please.

Need Help With: Gauging interest, critics and any help for main plot, and better ways to express this idea.

I currently rate Interstellar as the 2nd best (possibly lower, definitely not higher) movie I've ever watched.

Would anyone be interested in a Combined Arms/Chain of Command RP? You would play as a Pilot, Commander, Captain of a Ship, anything. If you were say, a general, you would have to make a broad plan, send it to the commanders in the field and have them make the strategies. It would combine military/war, strategy, and even some politics.

China will not fight, but will play some roll I think. I am not sure whether to focus on the storyline or the strategy aspect of it.

You could do both, maybe write a basic story, then have the players build off that as the strategy aspect comes into play.

My Idea is to have me Play the President, the Co-Ops play the Chinese leader and the Secretaries of the Navy, Air Force, and Army, and the Joint Chiefs. From there people would then be asked to make a commander for every unit involved. And then ground troops if we have room.

A and you think that is all in terms of the global powers interested in the affairs of North Korea? Not even the Korean war was simply between America and North Korea. You had South Korea, Russia, and China all contributing, and in today's world, you're liable to have those same countries appear again, though Russia likely doing so in hopes of annexing Korea and parts of China in the event NATO wins or going for Japan if the Reds win. Then you have the RN, Vietnam, Canada, pretty much any full scale conflict in Korea is liable to erupt in World War Three. I'd recommend starting with sometuing a lot less severe in scope of world effect. Maybe a peacekeeping mission in some nameless third-world country or an anti-insurgency campaign in the middle east?

I was going for a war in Either South America or the Middle East. Which one would you rather have? Asia is too volatile.
