So here's what I've got as a drafted OP for a Mecha RP

OPERATION IVORY COAST II

Date: 6-12-2049
Location: Northern Hà Giang Province Vietnam
Units: 1st Mechanized Assault Regiment

The year is 2049, 30 years after the creation of the 1st Mechanized Assault Regiment composed and just two years into the Insurgency in Yunnan as part of the larger Chinese Insurgency. The Insurgency has its roots in ethnic and political tensions with the Pro-democracy ethic minorities mostly Yi, Zhuang, Bai ethnic groups fighting against the Chinese political establishment.

The 1st Mechanized Assault Regiment has been deployed to the boarder region in Northern Vietnam and is part of a larger force offered by the Stratigic Mutual Defense Coalition to Vietnam on request as to protect vital economic intrest in the area as well as to protect the political stability of the region. However the 1st Mechanized Assault Regiment has a special assignment in that off the record they are conducting raids against the Chinese Liberation Army and to help and train Pro-democracy insurgents (typiclly called Zìyóu de Yǒngshì or simplyb Zìyóu)

These operations are covert and represent the nature of this multi-national regiment made up of the best the CDS has to offer. But as of late there have been concerns as Russian, Iranian, and Syrian soldiers all of whom belong to the Pact of Independent Nations and with opposing mechs in the area and has lead to the prospect of stalemate or open combat in the region. Which will the world choose?

So probably not the most thrilling opening as I've never been much for OP's but it does convay mm the idea I do believe. Basicly you will RP as a soldier in this conflict, wether you're a western mech operator, Chinese insurgent, or Russian soldier is completly up to you. Currently the military situation in the area is complex to put it lightly with Russian+allies and PLA forces making inroads against Insurgent forces and with Western forces barely a mile across the boarder, with that however the Insurgent forces are not a unified force made up of a multitude of ideologically based forces and local militias with some forces being hostile to both Chinese and Western forces while in some cases a few groups will be aligned with the west one day, the Chinese the other, and against both depending on the military situation at the time.

The Particles put out a large amount of energy when exposed to electricity and are extremely susceptible to magnetism. Within months of this discovery V Particle power cells were swiftly under development and by 2016 the first industrial scale V particle based energy sources came into use. Currently about 3.7% of the population use V particle generated power with the number set to rise 8 times over in the next five years.



Mechs: Mechs are a new set of military technology usually with legs of some sort. Many mechs are humanoid in their design. Mechs were an advance of military technology and while fist developed in 2017 they grew into military weapons by the late 2030's thanks to the typical arms race between attack and assault weapons/tactics and defensive counter attack systems which has effectively made long range warfare impractical and with the reimplementation of in view naval battles and in flight dogfights so has the reimplementation of close range armored combat. Mechs are used for multiple situation aside from direct combat and are used for recon, troop support, and disaster relief. The way a person pilots a mech is different between styles and models with some being fully operated manually while other are aided with neurological conections but all mechs at some level use manual controls. As far as weapons go most Mechs use built in weapon systems usually located on the shoulders and where you would see an arm (in some models an articulated arm can act as a weapon as well) although some of the newest models use hand held systems as to keep down on overall weight while a most mechs created prior to 2035 use both mounted weapons and hand held weaponry. Early mech models used large bulky battery packs to power there limited movement most models built after 2022 use V particle enhanced battery systems making the smaller (usually the size of twin bed and around 100-120 lbs) and are far more effective allowing for a multitude of electronic systems and greater degrees of movement for the mech. Currently all major military powers use Mechs at some degree.

ExoSuit: ExoSuit's (Exoskeleton suit) are a suit worn by a soldier which increases stamina, strength, overall accuracy, gives live feedback to soldiers, and has been able to increase overall combat effectiveness. These suits were first developed in both Russia and America around 2045 but with both suits being drastically different in the way they operate and even how they are to be used. Currently only a few nations operate ExoSuits and of those nation the use of ExoSuits are limited usually relegated to special operation forces or to forces attached to Mechanized units.

Particle Weapons: Partical Weapons is a catch all term for any weapon which uses AB particle technology. These weapons are usually mounted to a Mech with some in roads towards hand held based weapons which use a similar system mostly utilized by western nations while eastern nation prefer kinetic weapons. No matter the scale however the basic concept is still the same, in the back of the weapon AB particles are injected into a small chamber where they are suspended using an electromagnet and given its electric charge. Being condensed and suspended by magnetism said electromagnet changes is side (negative to positive or vice versa) which shoots the particles down the barrel which is an enlarged and elongated Solenoid which helps to stabilize the bolt or beam of charged AB particles. This weapon while mostly reserved for mechs has see prototypes which use the same concept in small infantry weapons although have almost never seen use outside the lab.

Currently the world is chopped up into two main coalitions which have been standing off against one another for almost 30 years.

Pact of Independent Nations: the Pact of Independent Nation (PIN) is a coalition consisting of Russia, China, all Central Asian nations, Iran, Syria, Azerbijan, and Belarus. The coalition was started after the collapse of the Russian economy in 2017 and with further EU and NATO influence along it's boarders Russia was desperate to combat growing western influence but were unable to due so itself. The PIN was established in 2020 during a defense confrance in Novosibirsk and was originally composed of Russia, China, and Iran. PIN's first full scale combat missions was a deployment to Syria in 2020 to help end the stalemate in the region. While american forces had effectively crushed the ISIS assault into Iraq they still had control of northern and eastern Syria. The conflict has devolved into stalemate between the defacto independent caliphate and they syrian government and thanks to political shifts in America and Europe Syria was left high and dry as far as international assistance wen't. Within a moth of its first deployment week of its deployment the unified Syrian-PIN coalition started its first offensive into northern Syria breaking ISIS front lines near Aleppo and in the south with an assault into the Al-Raqqa district through the Syrian held Homs Governorate. Within three months the Caliphate's was liberated by a russian led force while Syrian and Iranian forces assaulted ISIS forces in the countryside. The Battle of Al-Raqqa also noted the first use of a Mech in combat with the Russian Model 00 "Zmeya". After they Syrian campaign which ended in early 2021 PIN has been slowly growing and building up its military experiance with its new operation in China marking its first real test of defending a member state.

Stratigic Mutual Defense Coalition: the Stratigic Mutual Defense Coalition (SMDC) has its roots with its predecessor organization NATO. The SMDC was formed in 2022 just after the Successful PIN operation in Syria. During a meeting in Brussels and delegates from around the world met and reformed NATO in the SMDC. Along with the original 28 members of NATO the nations of Australia, Japan,Brazil, Mexico, New Zealand, Tiawan, Thailand, Egypt, Israel, and South Africa being added into the alliance. The coalition had it's first operation aiding the Anericans against Chinese shipping but after the conflict and the Anerican pacific fleet in shambles in 2025 the coalition has stayed low profile until the neutral nation of Vietnam had asked for assistance in regards to national defense as the conflict in southern China raged on the nations northern boarder.

I've got some experience with being in mecha RPs. It's difficult to pull off, in my opinion, but certainly not impossible.

I'm working on a tutorial on formatting, which is far from finished, but I'll direct you here in case you need ideas for a streamlined OOC. Of course, taking inspiration from existing OOC threads isn't a bad idea either. I'd suggest using a few spoilers, for starters.

Detailed Description: I'm thinking that it will be set right after Angel's finale though the present day is an option. Also, it'll treat the TV series as canon, but not the comics and such to make it more accessible to people who aren't hard core fans and give us more flexibility.

Detailed Description:

It has been ten years since Heaven's Fall, thirty since the death of Wankan-Tonka, and thirty-eight since we conquered Pandemonium, seat of Satan's power. If we go back even farther, we find the point when WWIII ended, and shortly after that, we see a South African scientist discovering the soul's existence. Now, class, this discovery rocked the sociopolitical and religious worlds, but not as much as what happened two weeks later: an American scientist, a woman; along with her team of researchers and theologians, discovered the truth of souls. That they sum up a being's intellect, creativity, experience, willpower, and energy, and that they are the way for mankind to use the magic we forgot for millennia. With this knowledge, we found a way to track the souls of the dying. We saw a murderer's soul go to Hell, where the demon Mephistophelese tormented it. We saw the soul of an old grandmother go to Heaven, where the angels celebrated. We saw the soul of a white-collar worker go to Purgatory, where the Wicked Witch of the West ate it.

And we went to war. We thought we could liberate our souls from Hell, so we declared war. That took ten years, and ended when we pushrd Satan into the Lake of Burning Sulfur.

And then the Pagana got pissy and sent a Dragon to attack Washington D.C.
It didn't work, as the dragon really didn't want to, and so we allied with him ad his brethren and their allies, the phoenixes, manticores, fay, unicorns, lamia, and werewolves. We defeated the Pagana and their allies, one realm at a time, until only the Abenaki, an army of vampires, and the locals still fought, in the undead city of Tantalus. That war ended when we killed their leader, Wankan-Tonka.

And then the angels came. They descended upon London and Beijing and Washington. But they didn't fight. They warned us of the coming danger, that the council in Heaven was considering attacking Earth, beginning the Battle of the Rapture. Of course, now we know that Jehovah was planning no such thing, although he was alarmed, but that it was the work of the Archangels Michael, Uriel, and Xerxes. But we didn't know then, and so we attacked Heaven. That war was the longest single conflict of the God Wars, even though the Purgatory Wars had taken 12 due to the size of the place. It all ended when Jehovah learned of his angel's plans, and killed himself along with the conspirators.

Those were the God Wars. This is their Aftermath. Have fun living in it.

It is 2020, and across the world religions are spewing out their final days literature and warnings. On the corners of every street and major intersection in every country, there are those holding up signs all stating the same ideals, the same threats, the same warnings, "Repent for the End is Nigh". Rocked by earthquakes, international incidents of massive scale and magnitude ranging from terrorist attacks to natural disasters rage across the surface of the Earth, and it is during this time, now people of various backgrounds have begun to claim that there are those among Humanity which will lead to its utter destruction in these "Last Days". They are host to something ancient which seeks to fulfill an ancient prophecy written down many years before in the time before. What is unknown is who these traitors to Humanity are, and how they've managed to last so long, and with now the end times bearing rapidly down in the eyes of most every major world religion in the wake of the non-stop daily spiral of catastrophe groups of violent radicals and zealots have begun to take it upon themselves to try and track down these beings.

Thes beings are called the Nephilim Host, and are able to tap into their own genetic powers passed down through the ages but at a price. To use their power, they must be about to die, and in using this ability, they trade their death for the death of another. They also must be of age 16 or older, having finally Awoken from their slumber, they now also have the help of a single Nephilim Spirit to guide them to the final goal, to find the Gates of Euphrates, the legendary location where the four most powerful Watchers (those whom mixed their seed with Humanity to create the Nephilim originally), are buried beneath the Earth, awaiting the fulfillment and end of their seventy generations of imprisonment so that they might fulfill what has been written,"'Release the four angels who are bound at the great Euphrates River.' With the sudden influx of supernatural activity growing across the world as the Nephilim Host struggle among themselves to either try and fulfill or prevent the prophecy, time continues to run down until the appointed hour when the Watcher's will be released to wreak havoc among the world once more in vengeful spite out of that which comes from being bound for more than four thousand years. Among the Nephilim Host, there are many small bands, allied in completing either goal, struggling to find a way into the Middle East, which in the wake of the Islamic Babylonian Imperial State being erected resulted in the fall of Kuwait, Iraq, parts of Turkey, Syria, Jordan, and northern Saudi Arabia and Egypt has now lead to much of the Middle East being cut off from most of the world in response to multiple trade sanctions and embargoes placed on the area. Constant fighting now is left in that region, and across much of the world many are being denied access to open oil reserves present in return for inflated oil prices from the now very much strained refineries of Saudi Araia and those parts of the Middle East not a part of IBIS.

The first installation in this series of likely four will center around people making their way towards the Middle East from a central location in likely North America which is now torn by rampant rioting and civil unrest in response to elevated police brutality figures and extensive media coverage of such events. In addition extreme inflation and the rationing of gasoline to basic citizens and taxpayers has lead to an increased amount of national unhappiness. Washington D.C. has been turned into a fortress nearly overnight in the wake of the election of the highly religious and conservative President Donald Charleston Williams and a Republican-heavy Congress. Many claim that this was part of a set-up designed by the government to continue paying for its repeated bailouts of many national companies since the 2015 economic downturn that resulted in American unemployment spiking into the frighteningly high 11% range. With that said, I think that's about as much as I'm going to go into here for details folks.

OPERATION IVORY COAST II

Date: 6-12-2049
Location: Northern Hà Giang Province Vietnam
Units: 1st Mechanized Assault Regiment

The year is 2049, 30 years after the creation of the 1st Mechanized Assault Regiment composed and just two years into the Insurgency in Yunnan as part of the larger Chinese Insurgency. The Insurgency has its roots in ethnic and political tensions with the Pro-democracy ethic minorities mostly Yi, Zhuang, Bai ethnic groups fighting against the Chinese political establishment.

The 1st Mechanized Assault Regiment has been deployed to the boarder region in Northern Vietnam and is part of a larger force offered by the Stratigic Mutual Defense Coalition to Vietnam on request as to protect vital economic intrest in the area as well as to protect the political stability of the region. However the 1st Mechanized Assault Regiment has a special assignment in that off the record they are conducting raids against the Chinese Liberation Army and to help and train Pro-democracy insurgents (typiclly called Zìyóu de Yǒngshì or simplyb Zìyóu)

These operations are covert and represent the nature of this multi-national regiment made up of the best the CDS has to offer. But as of late there have been concerns as Russian, Iranian, and Syrian soldiers all of whom belong to the Pact of Independent Nations and with opposing mechs in the area and has lead to the prospect of stalemate or open combat in the region. Which will the world choose?

So probably not the most thrilling opening as I've never been much for OP's but it does convay mm the idea I do believe. Basicly you will RP as a soldier in this conflict, wether you're a western mech operator, Chinese insurgent, or Russian soldier is completly up to you. Currently the military situation in the area is complex to put it lightly with Russian+allies and PLA forces making inroads against Insurgent forces and with Western forces barely a mile across the boarder, with that however the Insurgent forces are not a unified force made up of a multitude of ideologically based forces and local militias with some forces being hostile to both Chinese and Western forces while in some cases a few groups will be aligned with the west one day, the Chinese the other, and against both depending on the military situation at the time.

Important Information Tech Background/Overview AB Particles: Abrkov-Barnnet Particles or simply AB Particles (named after Russian scientist Dimitri Abrkov and American scientist Avery Barnnet) and are a Fermionic particles which were discovered in 2015 by a group of Russian, American, and European scientist working with the Large Hadron Collider. The particles were found in conjunction with V particles but have a completly different application. The Particles put out a large amount of energy when exposed to electricity and are extremely susceptible to magnetism. Work quickly started of the development of weapons using AB particles with a joint American-European group creating the first weapon using the AB particles by 2018. They are also used in the medical field and in industry as one can form a particle "blade" which can be used as an ultra-precise cutting instrument and able to cut through thick metal and ablation of soft tissue. V Particles: Vauquelin Particles or simply V Particles (named after Abel Vauquelin a French scientist credited with there discovery) are another Fermionic particle founded in 2015 alongside its sister AB particle. While they share some similarities Expecially in there reaction to electric energy their applications are much different. Rather then putting out energy when subject to an electrical charge they amplify the charge nearly 500 to 800 times the original charge. Within months of this discovery V Particle power cells were swiftly under development and by 2016 the first industrial scale V particle based energy sources came into use. Currently about 3.7% of the population use V particle generated power with the number set to rise 8 times over in the next five years. Mechs: Mechs are a new set of military technology usually with legs of some sort. Many mechs are humanoid in their design. Mechs were an advance of military technology and while fist developed in 2017 they grew into military weapons by the late 2030's thanks to the typical arms race between attack and assault weapons/tactics and defensive counter attack systems which has effectively made long range warfare impractical and with the reimplementation of in view naval battles and in flight dogfights so has the reimplementation of close range armored combat. Mechs are used for multiple situation aside from direct combat and are used for recon, troop support, and disaster relief. The way a person pilots a mech is different between styles and models with some being fully operated manually while other are aided with neurological conections but all mechs at some level use manual controls. As far as weapons go most Mechs use built in weapon systems usually located on the shoulders and where you would see an arm (in some models an articulated arm can act as a weapon as well) although some of the newest models use hand held systems as to keep down on overall weight while a most mechs created prior to 2035 use both mounted weapons and hand held weaponry. Early mech models used large bulky battery packs to power there limited movement most models built after 2022 use V particle enhanced battery systems making the smaller (usually the size of twin bed and around 100-120 lbs) and are far more effective allowing for a multitude of electronic systems and greater degrees of movement for the mech. Currently all major military powers use Mechs at some degree. ExoSuit: ExoSuit's (Exoskeleton suit) are a suit worn by a soldier which increases stamina, strength, overall accuracy, gives live feedback to soldiers, and has been able to increase overall combat effectiveness. These suits were first developed in both Russia and America around 2045 but with both suits being drastically different in the way they operate and even how they are to be used. Currently only a few nations operate ExoSuits and of those nation the use of ExoSuits are limited usually relegated to special operation forces or to forces attached to Mechanized units. Particle Weapons: Partical Weapons is a catch all term for any weapon which uses AB particle technology. These weapons are usually mounted to a Mech with some in roads towards hand held based weapons which use a similar system mostly utilized by western nations while eastern nation prefer kinetic weapons. No matter the scale however the basic concept is still the same, in the back of the weapon AB particles are injected into a small chamber where they are suspended using an electromagnet and given its electric charge. Being condensed and suspended by magnetism said electromagnet changes is side (negative to positive or vice versa) which shoots the particles down the barrel which is an enlarged and elongated Solenoid which helps to stabilize the bolt or beam of charged AB particles. This weapon while mostly reserved for mechs has see prototypes which use the same concept in small infantry weapons although have almost never seen use outside the lab. Geopolitical situation Currently the world is chopped up into two main coalitions which have been standing off against one another for almost 30 years. Pact of Independent Nations: the Pact of Independent Nation (PIN) is a coalition consisting of Russia, China, all Central Asian nations, Iran, Syria, Azerbijan, and Belarus. The coalition was started after the collapse of the Russian economy in 2017 and with further EU and NATO influence along it's boarders Russia was desperate to combat growing western influence but were unable to due so itself. The PIN was established in 2020 during a defense confrance in Novosibirsk and was originally composed of Russia, China, and Iran. PIN's first full scale combat missions was a deployment to Syria in 2020 to help end the stalemate in the region. While american forces had effectively crushed the ISIS assault into Iraq they still had control of northern and eastern Syria. The conflict has devolved into stalemate between the defacto independent caliphate and they syrian government and thanks to political shifts in America and Europe Syria was left high and dry as far as international assistance wen't. Within a moth of its first deployment week of its deployment the unified Syrian-PIN coalition started its first offensive into northern Syria breaking ISIS front lines near Aleppo and in the south with an assault into the Al-Raqqa district through the Syrian held Homs Governorate. Within three months the Caliphate's was liberated by a russian led force while Syrian and Iranian forces assaulted ISIS forces in the countryside. The Battle of Al-Raqqa also noted the first use of a Mech in combat with the Russian Model 00 "Zmeya". After they Syrian campaign which ended in early 2021 PIN has been slowly growing and building up its military experiance with its new operation in China marking its first real test of defending a member state. Stratigic Mutual Defense Coalition: the Stratigic Mutual Defense Coalition (SMDC) has its roots with its predecessor organization NATO. The SMDC was formed in 2022 just after the Successful PIN operation in Syria. During a meeting in Brussels and delegates from around the world met and reformed NATO in the SMDC. Along with the original 28 members of NATO the nations of Australia, Japan,Brazil, Mexico, New Zealand, Tiawan, Thailand, Egypt, Israel, and South Africa being added into the alliance. The coalition had it's first operation aiding the Americans against Chinese shipping but after the conflict and the Anerican pacific fleet in shambles in 2025 the coalition has stayed low profile until the neutral nation of Vietnam had asked for assistance in regards to national defense as the conflict in southern China raged on the nations northern boarder. History by region (since 2015) Africa in 2015 was in a balancing act, while economicly speaking it was coming up with some nations seeing 15%-17% in economic growth. However the wars in Central Africa continued to be extreme humanitarian disasters, west Africa was still being pummeled by the Ebola outbreak, Somolia was still in a state of perpetual anarchy, Terrorist attacks in East Africa continued, sectarian conflict still rocked much of the Maghreb, and political corruption affected almost every nation on the continent. However after the development of the V particle power source was first developed it got its use in the city of Ouagadougou Burkina Faso where it was used to power the city to great effect. The continent itself however continued to stagnate politicly and socially and while the economy continued to grown the people continued to be oppressed by the current political establishment. Even with the increase in cheap usable energy thats to the prospects of the V Particle Power Plant civil unrest continues to choke the continent. The few nations who however are free from the chaos had to choose from the growing influence of the Russians or go toward the West. After the Egyptians ended the Insurgency in the Sini they had experienced years of political stability as al-Sisi continued to solidify his power and later his successor Wafi al-Mofty moved the country over to the west along side his allie South Africa whom both became members of the SMDC East Asia has been a place of competition since the start of the start of the PIN-SMDC stand off. With Japan and Thailand joining the coalition and while not joining the SMDC South Korea remained strongly allied with them. The tensions between China and Japan over disputed island also were compounded with strong shows of military power by the Russians had gotten the Japanese government on edge. But by 2045 overpopulation had caused the collapses of the Chinese economy (which lead to a world wide recession) and has also lead to the social conditions which started the Chinese Insurgency. The insurgency in China has its roots in political, social, and ethnic tension which surfaced right after the financial collapse when protest started to spring up all over southern and central China which were hit hardest by the collapse. Tensions blew into full blown protest and civil disobedience which after being initially suppressed by Chinese authorities fearing any possible escalation turned into armed unrest all over southern and central China with the Provinces of Yunnan, Guangxi, Guangdong, Sichuan, and Qinghai being the center of the insurgency. Currently the PLA has poured massive amounts of resources into the effected areas with PIN assistance in the regions. South east Asia has remained mostly Neutral with Thailand being the notable exception. And joined the SMDC fearing continued pressure from China. Myanmar has regressed in the last few decades being put back under military dictatorship while Cambodia has remained stable both politicly and economically, Vietnam has grown far more warm towards western powers and Laos has stayed relatively the same with the exception of some more intensified Hmong resistance In 2015 the Middle East was still gripped in the ISIS conflict and the fallout from the Arab Spring. Iraq was still in shock from the ISIS blitzkrieg into the nation and in Syria the war had divulged into a stalemate with little movement from ether side. Iran's nuclear program was advancing in international limbo while the Turks kept isolated from the conflict. The Gulf States repelled attacks from insurgents while getting fat on oil profits. However in the fall of 2016 a joint American, EU, Iraqi, Arab League, and Kurdish assault in Iraq dislodged ISIS from many of it's bases in the south and north. Iraq forces with AL ground support and US/EU air support pushed deep into ISIS territory liberating Samarra and Tikrit within a month and by January 2017 Kurdish/Iraq forces surrounded and liberated the city of Mosul after a month and a half battle for the city. After the expulsion of ISIS out of Iraq by 2019 the forces however stopped at that with political change in the west leaving further intervention off the political table leaving Syria on its own for the time (until PIN intervention a few years later). The Middle East currently is calm but tensions still arise as the PIN nations of Syria and Iran maneuver to keep influence over their neighbors as the Gulf States and Iraq are allied with SMDC nation and Turkey being a SMDC member. Europe at the start of 2015 was still paralyzed by Russian interventional ism in the Ukraine and was tangled up in politics. The EU was failing in all the wrong places, the European economy wasn't recovering as well as it should have, and the political fringe became more acceptable. With the Ukrainian military experiencing losses to Russian back Rebels the EU stiffened it's already existing sanctions against Russia and sent in military equipment to help the Ukrainians combat against the rebels. With the sanctions in place with nations like Germany and the UK leading the charge against the Russian economy and what is to be dubbed the "Money War" starts with Russia working tirelessly to keep its economy while the EU simply pooled it's allowed resources and took on a war of economic attrition. While the European economy shank slightly the Russian financial however completely fell to its worst level since 1994. While Russia looked for alliances to keep itself a float as a military power the European nation felt with the issues of political strife. After the surge in fringe political parties died down and by 2022 centrist parties started to take power with the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats winning a majority in the European Parliament. Around this time as well NATO was looking to expand in a major way. NATO held a conference in Brussels with dozens of non-NATO diplomats and after a week of negotiations the Strategic Mutual Defense Coalition was formed from the frame of NATO. Yeah I noticed that earlier, thought I stamped it out earlier but looks like I'll have to do some revisiting on that from.

I should actually have all this up by Thursday. First of gor to ad in the mech interface/control system to the Tech overview since and add in the history. Then I've got to set up multiple mech designs and am currently working on a geopolitical map to give an illustration of the situation.

In the year 2030, Earth finally reached a new age, one of technology and discovery. A young boy, named Dallen Thomsen had burst onto the scene of the world. Dallen had single-handily advanced the world, inventing holograms, hoverboards, flying cars with no fuel emission, along with several popular video games and a new smartphone, better than all the rest, featuring an AI, connection to video game systems and could do basically anything that one wanted. The brand, was simply known as Tom. Dallen also facilitated the reemergence of renewable energy systems, making wind turbines noiseless, popularizing hybrid cars with the Thomsen car, powered by water alone. He made solar panels more effective, and procured a way to retrieve energy from the tides cheaply and inexpensively. He was arguably one of the greatest mind the world had ever seen. Gas and oil were nonexistent, Africa was self-dependent and there were no "third-world countries." Everyone had enough to eat, and a place to eat. Child prostitution was gone, epidemics and diseases were stomped out with very little loss of life.The threat of nuclear war became apparent as tensions became hot between the West and Russia, but Dallen ended that, creating a shield that could shield entire cities, powered by a high tech shield generator. He then secretly traveled all over the world, occurred anymore.

The world was at peace, all thanks to this young man, who quickly became the richest in the world, thanks to his ingenuity and apparent charisma. He had created a company, Thomsen Tech, and the slogan was simply "For the future." He was the epitome of the Renaissance man. He was a master cellist, fencer, played soccer, and was at the top of his classes, far beyond his classmates. He managed to invent the first sonic screwdriver, being a immense fan of Doctor Who, though Thomsen Tech didn't release it for sale. That prompted BBC to hire Dallen as the 15th Doctor, who he would act as after the 14th Doctor's time was up.
But his success made him proud and quite haughty at time, due to all that he had done for the world. He was quite the workaholic and he impacted all of those around him, having high expectations of them, expecting all of those in his company Thomsen Tech to be as "perfect" as he was. He tended to ramble on, not paying attention to others, making some feel hurt. And in public, his words and actions made others feel unfulfilled and drove several people who tried to follow his example to exhaustion and comas, in rare cases. Though he had his fans, many were disillusioned with the college genius. But his loyalty to his company and those close to him was unsurpassed and he had a good heart inside. At his best he was a brilliant, hopeful and optimistic genius, at his worst, a demanding, annoying and infuriating man.
But if there was one man to match Dallen Thomsen, it was Evan Rigerson.They were the Google vs Apple of their time, the lion and the tiger and the Doctor and the Master of their world. But who was which? They had gone to the same school up into college, and whatever Dallen did, Evan Rigerson was close behind, or at times, just ahead. The two had started out as friends but as they got older, it became clear that Evan was jealous of Dallen, but then again, who wouldn't be? Dallen formed Thomsen Tech, Evan, Rigerson Corporations. All that Evan did ever since out of pure green envy, at the success and opportunities Dallen had had. Evan became totally obssessed with the defeat of Thomsen Tech and its creator, forming Rigerson Corp. to attempt to wrest control and influence from Dallen. He believed that Dallen had some malicious scheme, that he had created all these things and done all this in a master plan to control the world, and it was Evan's job to stop him. Rigerson Corp soon became headed by a conspiracy theorist, who was so intent on the defeat of Thomsen and his company that he would sacrifice anything and everything, including his morals. Dallen thought of Evan as a once brilliant colleague who had now become a fruit fly buzzing around him, always close behind, hindering him and attempting to stop the world from becoming a better place. Dallen regarded Evan as annoying, Evan looked at Dallen with an obsession which had become pure hate.

Thomsen Tech specialized in all future tech, along with being a research and development company for all fields.

One day, Thomsen Tech made an announcement. Their theme song, To Glory by Two Steps from Hell played out before Dallen appeared on the screen, sitting behind his desk. " Greetings. As you know, I am Dallen Thomsen, and I have some very exciting news for you today. I and my small team have created something brilliant, something that will blow your minds.

We have created, virtual reality. You can buy it today, for $20, at our stores anywhere in the world. However, there are limited copies, but a few lucky random people will find a card in the box which simply reads: "Congratulations, you have been chosen." They will have the chance to, and go into multiple multiverses. Have you ever wanted to travel to Middle-Earth, Narnia, Alagaesia, or the world of Percy Jackson? How about Marvel, or DC, or both of them combined, or Star Wars, or how about Redwall? Doctor Who perhaps? Perhaps you want to go to the world of Ranger's Apprentice, Tron or the world of books like Steelheart. The choice is yours. Dive into your favorite books and movies today. Even if you are not chosen, you still have the chance to go into all of your favorite fictional worlds. This is where you are in. You, after filling out your application on your Tom laptop, were launched into Virtual Reality Online. But there was a problem. Unknown to you, and Dallen at the time, Evan had somehow managed to get into the servers of VRO and had put Dallen and his robots under siege. Wherever Dallen went, Evan went, making alliances with anyone and everything, and attacking Dallen and his small forces. Using the VRO version of our world, Evan was able to procure his weapons. Evan is now assembling an army, bred for a single purpose. To save our world from Dallen and put forth a new world order, with him in charge, the only person capable to stop Dallen, in his beliefs. Somehow, he has managed to find a way to bring virtual characters from VRO into our world. Dallen believes that Evan will destroy the world by bringing virtual characters into our world which he can't control. You must stop Dallen or Evan, or our world is doomed, depending on your point of view.You will do this by traveling with Dallen/Evan, making alliances of our own with the good factions of the Multiverse, but first, you must get to Dallen, who is currently under heavy siege by Evan's forces in an unknown world. Dallen is trapped but fortified in a mountain. You must break the siege and relieve Dallen's forces, or help Evan defeat Dallen. Good luck, the fate of the Multiverse and our world is in your hands. The choice is in your hands, who will you support? Who is the good guy, and who is the bad guy? The lines between the two sides appears blurred but you must decide, and the Multiverse will never be the same.

Seeing that Evan's attempt to control our world failed due to the shields, he is now assembling an army, bred for a single purpose. To destroy our world and put forth a new world order, with him in charge. Somehow, he has managed to find a way to bring virtual characters from VRO into our world. You must stop him, or our world is doomed.You will do this by traveling with Dallen, making alliances of our own with the good factions of the Multiverse, but first, you must get to Dallen, who is currently under heavy siege by Evan's forces in an unknown world. Gas and oil were nonexistent, Africa was self-dependent and there were no "third-world countries." Everyone had enough to eat, and a place to eat. It just seems... Gaudy I think is the term? Like Gaudy inn the same fashion those old school batman episodes were... with the poor CG and everything. That's the feel this gives me, and that's not exactly a good thing in my perspective as it seems to detract perhaps from the feel you were going for. I also can't help but feel that this Dallen character is nothing but a total "Jesus" in that he seems to be utterly perfect with nothing wrong with him and that's not good either unless that's what you want him to be.

Make this a Grey vs Grey Morality. Both Dallen and Evan has redeeming and annoying sides.
