I'd be the latter response. I never play with Sunset Invasion (only bought it in the event I want to mod it into something more ludicrous. Might as well go all the way).

Nope. Still the same Jaguar Warriors.

I wonder, maybe I should post my idea on the Historical RP Group HQ? They might be interested.

RP's Overarching Concept: Protecting the World, it's a crossover between Power Rangers and Pokemon
Genre/s: Action/Adventure
Character or Faction Based: Character
Detailed Description: Somewhere near the end of Pokemon Red and Blue, Jesse, James and Meowth of Team Rocket were sent into another world by Arceus, the God of the Pokemon, as punishment for their deeds. Jesse and James were shocked to see Meowth with an even more human appearance. Unknown to Arceus, the rift had been left open, and Team Rocket managed to link the two worlds. They informed Giovanni, and he sent troops to help the trio, putting them in charge. They began to bring Pokemon from their home world into this world, where they gained power, and sent them to wreak havoc.

Meanwhile, Professor Oak, sporting five Pokedex's, stumbled upon the rift. Surprised to see Pokemon here, especially considering how human-like they were, he decided that more power would be needed to fight them. He quickly began working on the each Pokedex he had, and eventually created the PokeMorphers, which could grant humans the abilities of Pokemon. Oak went to get Ash, Misty, Brock and a few others, but realized they were busy in their own world fighting other Teams.

He knew that in order to defeat Team Rocket, he would have to recruit five warriors from this world, so he hosted a Pokemon tournament, after he learned that it was a video game here. The top five players were recruited and given the PokeMorphers, the powers of a single Pokemon, and the strength to fight off Team Rocket.

Need Help With: Nothing really. This is mostly just an idea I've been thinking over for a while.

Please provide as much detail as

RP's Overarching Concept: Several teenagers have been blessed by an ancient spirit, gaining strange supernatural powers, and are faced with others who want to take them from them.
Genre/s: Magic, fantasy, modern times, action, romance honestly I don't know
Character or Faction Based: Character
Detailed Description:
So the story will be set in a modern time world, exactly like ours. Except there will be spirits and demons, which few know about. Mostly they keep to themselves. But demons like to mess with human lives a bit, while spirits protect them. A great demon will rise, and start to meddle a bit more. An ordinary spirit can't stop him. But she can.
Edrea blessed several teenagers of the human world, giving them magic powers. They need to figure these out, as well as using them in the right way.
Need Help With: Ideas, structuring it all, making it come to life....
And if anyone wants to co make it, please say!

With both large and uncivilized hordes, I will claim as the leader of Islamic sultanates, in here it will be Abbasid or Tulunud?

Gunpowder is not something that can be taught easily, even with the civilized kingdom of Americas.

Nope. You can only be a vassal of the Aztecs - that's the point of the RP.
Though, if you manage to conquer/inherit some of that in-game, then it's fair game to me.

Incas have gunpowder weapons, but they won't appear here, so it's irrelevant.

Sort of. You play as vassals in the Aztec Empire. However, if you played CK2, you will know that this won't be an ordinary nation RP.

And I am writing the OP right now, and while I will be playing as the Aztecs, I'll make their leader the craziest person in medieval Europe.

Possessed, Lunatic, Brave...

The Return of Divinity

RP INTEREST AND FEEDBACK REQUEST
Please provide as much detail as possible.
RP's Overarching Concept: The Gods of Terra, Earth, have decided it was time to make their presence known again. They have chosen Champion's to act as Priests and Warriors in order to win converts to their courts. Some may join together, others may not, the only thing that is certain: The world will never be the same again.
Genre/s: Action/Adventure, Fantasy
Character or Faction Based: Character
Detailed Description:
In the beginning there was the Une Verse, the Being of Everything. There was nothing but Une Verse, and Une Verse quickly became bored. Deciding that he could be of more use by giving up his body, Une Verse exploded, giving up every bit of his being to create Everything. The explosion created Kao, the Being of Chaos, who tried to sleep but couldn't. Eventually, the Starae, the Great Gods, were created. They created the Pantheons to Worship them, each Starae with it's own Pantheon. Those in the Pantheons were called Plantoe, the Near Gods. They danced around their Starae, worshiping them and praising them.

Some Starae felt this wasn't enough. They began to eat other Starae, becoming great, black beings, called the Dark Ones. The Starae began to dance around the Dark Ones, billions of Starae around a single Dark One, worshiping the Dark Ones and hoping they would not be eaten. Creation continued, as some Plantoe created one or more Angels to dance around them and worship them.

It continued even farther as some Plantoe created Nontheon's, mortals who lived on them. To watch over the Nontheon's, the Plantoe created the Lesser Gods, who would have take care of the mortals. Their Angel's, if they had any, led the Lesser Gods as they led the Nontheon.

Billions of years ago, a Dark One called Galactus came into being, drawing Starae around him, causing them to dance. He called his Starae the Dancers of the Way of Milk, as they danced so beautifully, like milk. One of these Starae, called Helios, created a Pantheon of Nine: Merce, Veni, Terra, Marce, JuPee Tor, The Ringed One, Urna, Neptes and Plune.

Terra and those further from Helios created Angel's, and Veni, Terra and Marce created Nontheon's.

One of Veni's Lesser God's was the God of Heat. He was very jealous of the other God's of Veni, as the Nontheon refused to worship him. They ignored him, and said he was irrelevant. He pleaded with Veni, and she allowed him to punish the Nontheon as he saw fit.

The Venician God of Heat took the air of Veni and made it hotter. Over time, it became thick, a great, green cloud through which no heat could escape. He killed the Nontheon, the Children of Helios of Veni, eventually killing his Brothers and Sisters, and taking the title of King of Veni.

Marce, Terra's favorite brother, also had a Nontheon. A lesser God of Marce was the Goddess of Cold, a cruel and evil Goddess, reviled and rejected by the Nontheon. Jealous, she slowly began to cool the air of Marce, slowly enough that he didn't notice. Eventually, she had cooled the air so much that it began to leave Marce, killing the Nontheon.

A group of thirteen survivors came together to please with her. She said it was too late for the Children of Helios of Marce, and that they would die, but she would stop cooling the air, and keep enough in case the Children of Helios of Terra, Marce's favorite sister, needed a safe refuge.

When Terra was created by Helios, she decided to have an Angel, Luna, who would have dominion over the Ocean's of Terra. She then created her Lesser God's, who were represented throughout history as different deities. Her greatest Lesser God, who had even more influence over Terra and the Lesser God's than Luna, was Eva Lucia, the Goddess of Change. She changed the animals slowly, as well as how the world looked. It was because of Eva Lucia that humans came into existence, completing the Nontheon of Terra.

Over the centuries, they created religions based on the Lesser God's, the Plantoe and the Starae. Eventually, however, once they learned the exact actions that the Lesser God's took to create them, the Nontheon slowly began rejecting the idea of Divine Beings. Sure, there were still groups who believed, but they believed in one creator. Very few still believed in many God's, and none believed in the real ones. Eventually, the Lesser God's of Terra gave up, and retracted their gifts, allowing nature to run it's course to destroy the Humans.

After a Council with Terra, the Lesser God's and Luna have decided to protect this world once again. They were heartbroken to see how Humans had damaged it, and could not stand to see their mother in this state. They couldn't, however, decide on a leader of this new Pantheon they knew it would take to restore order. A decision was never reached, and so the Lesser God's abandoned the plan, or so they said.

In reality, the Lesser God's secretly came to mortals in dreams or visions and gave them power over their domain. Eva Lucia was the only deity who remained loyal to Terra, not choosing a champion. These Champions were given one special ability, and countless basic abilities in order to prove to the world that their God existed. These champions now go out and seek converts to follow them, and spread their new religions across the globe, hoping to one day merge them all and follow all the Lesser God's.

Got routes, optional routes, bosses, campaigns, inter party conflicts, all that shit written down in notepad. Had to narrow the fluff down though, not writing a book here lol...

What wol you guys think about a political RP like the House of Cards one held recently, just in a politically irrelevent place like Guam?

I think it might be pretty fun. The island has some pretty wacky politics like food fights in the "State" Legislature and much more.

I don't know if you'd want to draw from HoC directly if you were to do that, though.
In HoC, the power is real and omnipresent - it drives everything, at least in theory. If there isn't any real power to grab at, you just have a bunch of psychopaths fucking each other over for no reason.

Well, the thing about politics on Guam (I lived there for a number of years), is it is all based on your family. There are about 7 families that control everything (Grocery Stores, Insurance Companies with lucrative contracts with the Local Gov., the Port Authority, the Tourism Industry, along with the political parties). The families, however, are locked in races for prestige through politics along with maintaining the family fortune. The RP would probably be about that, such as grabbing the one Congressional Seat, taking the Governor's office, dealing with the Air Force and the Navy, etc.

I'd basically have a few characters, such as:
The Commanding Officer of Joint Region Marianas (the combined USN and USAF command that runs about a quarter of the island through the Military bases)
The Governor (who'd be outgoing)
The Lt. Governor (a Wild Card, really, I'm not quite sure yet on this one)
The Congressional Rep.
Some Hotel Owners/CEOs
Then the Legislature (a speaker, and the senators)

So, there is power, just not in the sense statesiders would understand it. Think of it as a battle between the Kochs, the Kennedys, and the Bushes all the time.
Thank God for OS!- Deian

Alright, RP thought:

The year is 2026, in the wake of a second American recession, the global economy is finally trudging out of the depression-like muck caused by the collapse (fueled by the banks again acting recklessly). A recent outrbeak of violence in Africa has prompted a UN-led intervention, however its formation quickly torn asunder when China vetoes the resolution, as the chaos has allowed them to seize more and more oil fields.

Western companies, as strong as ever, have started to field soldiers with experimental equipment, such as exo-suits and magnetic sensors, to combat the burgeoning influence of China. This has caused a global stir, as the mercenaries violate international law, but no politician is willing to stem the flow as the companies hold the political reigns.

The focus will be on player's fighting the Chinese and Islamic insurgent forces in different areas of Africa, using technology they will brainstorm and use. Limitations on equipment will be relatively light, but obviously nothing overly invincible will be allowed. A map showing influence and hardpoints of both China's oil companies / national investments as well as African-insurgent controlled areas will be provided, and players can choose their missions and conduct them as such.

Anyone have any input or interest in this?

Anyone have any input or interest in this?

TG if you have questions about RP. If I don't know the answer, I know someone who does.

Quite the unofficial fellow. P2TM Mentor specializing in faction and nation RPs, as well as RPGs.
