Hello all, it's been a while since I last posted on this forum and I was curious to see if there was any interest in reviving an old project of mine?

Admittedly it's failure was partly my own fault and partly down to poor execution, but I've found myself with more spare time lately and figured this would be as good as any place to get back into RPing.

I like the concept. Were there Replicants?

RP's Overarching Concept: Star Wars Clone Wars setting, were players play as members of a huge ass ship known as the Pride of the Core and kick ass.
Genre/s: Space Opera.
Character or Faction Based: Character.
Detailed Description: The Clone Wars begin, Geonosis left wartorn as the Grand Army of The Republic and Droid Army clash, Captain Cavik Toth a mercenary who pledged support to Count Dooku, is defeated by Jedi Master Adi Gallia and Captain Nym along with his brave band of pirates. General Greivous slays his first Jedi while Delta Squad and thousands of other Clone Commandos battle through a sea of warriors and droids to sabotage any chance of the CIS surviving.

But Count Dooku survived,escaping in his private yacht.Rallying support from the Commerce Guilds the production of battle droids and the recruitment of mercenaries and militia's fills in the gap from the First Battle of Geonosis and leaves the Clone Army outnumbered by a gap of 5 to one. Two Jedi Masters Sora Bulg and Tholme are sent to defeat Dooku, but fail. Sora falling to the dark side as a powerful warrior of Dooku Order of the Sith Lords and by extension another puppet of Darth Sidious.

Fighting soon stretched through the galaxy, with the Sons of Daughters of Freedom or the Freedom Sons pushed back from Sluis Sector of the outer rims by Separatist Forces losing thousands of soldiers. In the Battle of Praesitlyn Republic Forces manage to hold control over Praesitlyn, barely before being forced to pull back a year later. As the battle rages, Asajj Ventress, a corrupted Jedi, commanded the Separatist forces as a liaison.

Loyal to the Republic, the Wookiees develop a new superweapon-The Decimator, armed with a long-range turbolaser and protected by shielding. Learning of this new weapon Dooku sent General Sev'ramce Tann to capture the design so the Separatist can manufacture the design themselves.

The Steel Age Collapse (Circa mid 21st to mid 22nd century CE) was a stark reminder to mankind that he and his creations were not spared from the devastations of fate, aboard a runaway train that he called civilization. It grimly paralleled the demise of mankind’s first civilizations during the Bronze Age Collapse, for reasons that were both foreign and identical to each other. Environmental degradation, endemic violence, materialism, resource scarcities, war and countless other factors coagulated into a monstrous problem which would finally break the back of the entire international system, causing the total collapse of almost every single state. Billions perished in such a chaos, beaten and trod and bled and burned until nothing remained of their cacasses. Such was the totality of the collapse.

Yet this collapse was both immediate and deferred, unforeseen and expected, slowly yet rapidly fraying and tearing the seams of the seemingly impervious tapestry which man had called civilization, and which he had elegantly woven over millennia. In this time, civilization alternatively fought as hard as they could to push back the end of days, or liquidated their assets and attempted to preserve something for the future. Monuments, megaprojects, mountain carvings, even as mankind butchered millions in the fire of nuclear war, the desire to be preserved for any survivors to see prevailed. At this point, they did not know that it was the small things which would preserve any survivors… at all.

A factory complex may be able to churn out a hundred times its equivalent in mass of three-dimensional printers, but a three-dimensional printer could survive the apocalypse as a rat- unlike the dinosaurs of the factories. A cache of resources may have been for the use of the roaming militias of the end of times, yet they provided the very ingredients which could fuel a rebirth when conditions were right. The goo that was excreted from the engineered consumption organisms may have been tainted with a vile smell and taste, but the ability to turn wood into food sustained the lives of the several wandering tribes which had them. It was these last remnants of technology which brought about the survivors of the surface.

Below, deep in the bowels of the Earth, not all hope was lost either. In great projects, the ancient states tried to preserve some semblance of their identity in great subterranean cities. In the face of nuclear war, they were left trapped under a layer of radioactive topsoil. These survivors tried to live as best as they could, but generations passed. Insular people, trapped in the hive mind of their own people for centuries, their view of the world warped terribly. They were a mere shadow of the nations they once were, and perhaps they were even mixed with the shadows of other nations. This was all the ancient world had to offer as a human legacy.

Beyond a human legacy, it is said the downfall of the ancient world came just as they approached godhood. Little does anyone know what the old wise men of the tribes and the corrupted history books of the underground mean by this, but it is said that mankind almost transcended his limits, and created beings that could be equal to him. What these beings are, or if they are anymore, is unknown. Perhaps one day they may be seen once more, but until such a time comes, man knows little of his creations.

Mankind had once before brought about apocalypse to his greatest achievement, and once before had he brought about the rebirth of times. Such an occurrence now repeats itself, as new men, and new societies spring forth from the hell that was Earth. Was, because where hell was, it may be turned back into an Eden, or where hell was, man may be turned into a creature of it. The time is 2299 CE, in the eyes of the deceased, and man and all his surviving creations now forges a new destiny, their third volume of history. What will be of this time?
