I'm knowledgeable, but I don't really remember much of the Silver Eaters and I'd rather not shit all over Zein like I usually do. Refresher on the SE, Zein?

Space Marine chapter of the Blood Angels, are very caring for human life (well, as much as 40k can care) and, as of now, stuck in the warp trying to get out.

So their the Legion of the Damned but less awesome.

Enough to have the sufficient amount of red shirts.

I'm picturing a little more than a regular chapter, about....1,205 maybe.

Note that the campaign ends (if it goes well) with only 650 marines left.

1,205 actually isn't that big a number for a chapter. Sure the codex specifies 1000 marines, but that's only the squads; it doesn't count Librarians, chaplains, techmarines, pilots, apothecaries, captains, command squads, dreadnoughts, or other such specialists.

I may also have the Chapter Master be died and the other masters form a council or something to try to maintain order.

In a vaguely related sense, I had an AH idea in which Britain won the American Revolution (due to winning at the Battle of Saratoga), set during a second revolution in either the 1960s or the present day.

I decided against it because it would require twenty metric fucktons of research to do properly.

Err... I would like to hear about Britain maintaining a US colony up until the 1960s...

RP's Overarching Concept: The concept of this RP is based on the Eureka Stockade(or Rebellion) in 1854, near Ballarat, Victoria, Australia.
Genre/s: History, Action, Political-ish
Character or Faction Based: Character
Detailed Description: So it's 1854, and the Australian Gold Rushes are well underway, the government has increased the cost of mining licenses and has done other injustices towards the miners, searching for their fortune. Many of the miners are former revolutionaries from the Revolutions of 1848, who afterwards fled to Australia. This is set just before the Bakery Hill meeting with the speech by Peter Lalor, characters would begin shortly after the burning down of the Eureka hotel and then head to Bakery Hill for the meeting if they were the miners or if they were British troops, they would begin in Melbourne and then head towards Bakery Hill shortly after receiving word about the Eureka Hotel being burnt down. From there, it would be up to the characters(Mostly) on the result; would the miners be ready this time in their tens of thousands, or would the British triumph as in history.

Need Help With: Advice on whether or not I'd get anyone in the RP

Please leave this hashtag in place: #Mentorhelp

I like it. Granted, I might be some bandit robbing all the miners who left for the stockade, but still. :P

Decius-You should probably do more research on WWII before trying to make a RP about it. At least one that will not be filled with one liners and godmodding.

Speaking from experience here.

Not sure what we're doing, but here:

The Primordials

The Void Primordial: Constructed the great expanses of the heavens, the void. Chaotic, the embodiment of the void, without drive or motivation, it appears to simply exist to end. It is the least seen of the three Primordials, but it is also one of the most well-known for the power it possesses. However, though it, like the other two Primordials, has the ability to destroy the entirety of the cosmos, it simply lacks the desire and motivation to do so.

The Atomic Primordial: Constructed matter and has given structure to the cosmos. Creative, the embodiment of the structure of all matter, it appears to exist to create. It is the most prominent of the three Primordials, it has been the only one of the three to ever interact with life as it is known on this plane of existence and it is said it can overwrite the abilities of the other two for an undisclosed time, but lacks the knowledge of itself to do so.

The Energy Primordial: Constructed that which binds together the matter and expanses of the void, giving them life. Ambiguous, the embodiment of the most fundamental forces of the cosmos which in spite of their prominence, are left a mystery in their innermost workings, it appears to exist to pass. The most 'spiritual' per se of the three Primordials, it is singularly that which is said to create and destroy life in the blinking of an eye, or over the course of the tides of time, working with the ebb and flow of the cosmos to supply life to all that it touches and it is believed it also gives life to the other two Primordials and likewise controls time, but out of a need to exist, it refuses to destroy nor suspend permanently its peers so far as we know that is.

The Ascendant

The Dark Ascendant: Controls the cosmos where the light fails to fall, works most commonly under the command of the Void Primordial. Not inherently evil, but wishes to see the void become the prominent force of the cosmos.

The Thermal Ascendant: Controls heat energy in all of its forms, works in hand with the Decay Ascendant to create the four forms of matter based on their interactions. Seen as inquisitive as to the workings of the cosmos, it is not to be trifled with as it can and will work using power given to it by the Energy and Atomic Primordials to wipe out entire civilizations in spite of the effect it might have.

The Decay Ascendant: Controls the state and degradation of all matter in the Cosmos, it works in and with the Thermal Ascendant to create the four forms of matter based on their interactions. Seen as dismissive to all but its peers and the Primordial Ones, it gives little regard to the lives it effects and often is viewed as a warrior of some sort.

The Photonic Ascendant: Controls light, it is often seen as the weakest of all the Ascendant in spite of how influential it is on the cosmos. Being one of the easiest to sway to one side or the other, it is seen as highly erratic and impulsive and while incredibly weak-minded, it has the potential to be incredibly strong, but lacks the knowledge to do so at this time.

Okay, the other day I was thinking, and I have a barebones idea for an RP: In fiction, the Illuminati is portrayed as an incredibly powerful, world-spanning conspiracy that wants to establish a New World Order or something similar, but in real life, the actual 18th century group of intellectuals who called themselves "the Illuminati" were essentially benevolent people who liked rational thought, democracy and other Age of Enlightenment ideas. So what if the Illuminati was an incredibly powerful, world-spanning conspiracy that wants to establish a New World Order or something similar... ...made up of essentially benevolent intellectuals who like rational thought and democracy? The RP could be based around either the actions of characters within the Illuminati or each RPer would take the role of another secret society with conflicting goals, whether benevolent or malevolent. Supernatural/sci-fi stuff could exist to make things more interesting, but it doesn't have to be part of it.
