For some reason, an RP based on Five Nights at Freddy's sounds like a good idea.

Too much of an enclosed setting. Also, how would it even work? Would half the players be employees/night guards and the other half mechanical animals?

Maybe I can set it somewhere else, like an amusement park? There could also be like investigators, but that wouldn't work since that actually makes sense.

Well, that would be better. However, there would have to be some sort of day-to-night mechanic since the robots only turn malevolent at night. But the switch to Amusement Park sounds cool.

RP's Overarching Concept: 2 groups of gods compete to have the greatest solar system in the galaxy.
Genre/s: God, Space. (Or sci-fi, if you will.)
Character or Faction Based: A bit of both.
Detailed Description: A god named Guardian was created to watch the galaxy named Maximus, created by other gods. He was created by Watcher, because watching these 600+ systems at once was difficult. Later Watcher defected to another galaxy. After Maximus was almost completely abandoned, because of a raid by other gods, Guardian decided to start from scratch. It took 3.4 mil years to erase everything he watched. And another 4.7 mil to create these solar systems. But after 23 thousand years of creating these two systems, he decided to create two groups of gods. Bent on pleasing the Guardian, they could have almost complete power of the entire galaxy if they dethroned Guardian. They will now have to decide how to destroy the others. Thus started the Tale of Two Systems. These gods can change planets, orbits, comets, asteroids, the temperature of the sun, you can even betray or defect to the other solar system. Create intelligent life, create moons, and even raid the other system. If it's impossible, you can do it!

So many RP's lately involving gods. I'd like to know what you think separates this idea from other god-oriented roleplays, aside from the sci-fi aspect. I'm not saying it's bad, I'm just extremely curious.

His idea isn't terrible, and people have shown interest in it (presumably). Granted, it will take a lot of creativity to pull it off since he has very little source material. So, now that the others have had their turn, can someone help me with my idea please?

Kaiju from all corners of our planet and the cosmos are destroying Man's final refuges. But none are as powerful as The King; Godzilla. There are five major organizations (Monarch, G-Force, CCI, Red Bamboo, and the Xilieans) who wish to eliminate their competition and survive in a world now dominated by monsters. The surviving factions wage war with the Kaiju and each other with their Jaegers and other forms of advanced weaponry.

Basically Space Marines chapter, the Silver Eaters, gets sucked into a void of the warp and are stuck in their for a few hundred years occasionally coming out of the warp only to be sucked back in.

Then they find a way out but have to fight through a Tomb world which is filled with all kinds of Necrons So they fight a one year campaign (known as the Arrival of Silver) to get back home. Much of the Chapter will be lost in this campaign (which will be larger than most Space Marine chapters so we don't run out of shit, but we will be outnumbered.)

Thoughts?

Sun God: (Controls the temperature of the Sun. Vital for planets to survive)
Rock Planet God: (Creates Solid Planets)
Gas Giant God: (Creates Gas Giants)
Bacteria God: (Creates bacteria)
Orbit God: (Required for Intelligent Life that exists only in certain temperatures)
Polar God: (Creates the Polar Ice Caps of a planet. Required for life that thrives on water or ice)
Comet God: (Creates and controls comets)
Asteroid God: (Creates and controls asteroids)

Well, I don't know much about the Godzilla universe, so I can't say much on that regard, though you might want to explain more about the Kaiju and the Jaegers, in case someone who isn't that knowledgeable on the franchise happens to be interested. You could also outline the Kaiju's weaknesses (if they have them, again, no idea) along with their size and powers. Also, you hardly need four posts to list the monsters, you could easily fit them all into one simply using spoilers, not to mention the coding is screwed on some of the monsters.

I'd comment on it, if I knew anything at all about Warhammer. I think you'd be better off asking people knowledgeable on that franchise's canon than just posting a question here and hoping someone answers, frankly.

Anyway, you might want to cut down the lists by perhaps combining some of those Gods, because getting sixteen (I'm assuming there would be a God of each thing in each of the two solar systems you speak about in your idea) players might not be easy.

I'm knowledgeable, but I don't really remember much of the Silver Eaters and I'd rather not shit all over Zein like I usually do. Refresher on the SE, Zein?
