I've gone through three pages of people asking you for clarity; none of them have stated that you made your reasons clear. Nor have they considered your input constructive.

Again, I don't need you guys to be convinced. These ideas are yours to consider. If they please you, that's great. If not, then I apologize.

I think G-Tech was trying to tell you to stop "helping" in a more diplomatic way than I want to tell you.

I was not- all viewpoints are worth considering when it comes to writing theory, and discussion is good. But as tempers fray, and one of our main community threads becomes clogged, it would be best if all parties took a step back and cooled off. And, to prevent the Cafe from being entirely derailed and other ideas lost, transfer to Unit’s dedicated thread if more folks want to continue the debate.

Well, the characters are not the only people on the station, it is futuristicand the setting is well defined, so it might not be up your alley.

The rp takes iinfluence from shows like Deep space 9 and Babylon 5.

I give the option to have the rpers choose their deaths, though I want to make sure not everyone gets the same death. If someone wants to have a death be a surprise, then I can have the option to choose a death for them.

I have read one story so far, the concept is interesting, but so far, most of the reactions that i have see are too accepting. Would you be going a more realistic take, or something like that?

I will clearly add a character bank which will also list their deaths and the RP will be set on the day when the machine goes worldwide. There is one story on the book called "PIANO", which has a man who got the prediction of the same name. Thinking that as long as he has PIANO, he can survive pretty much everything. However, I don't want to give away the twist, but I will say that in the introduction, it lists that it's possible to die from BURIED ALIVE even if you're skydiving (You might land in the path of a collapsing building).

Detailed Description: Imperial explorers have boldly charted their way to a hitherto undiscovered island! Already, tales of sweltering jungles, irate natives, dark sorcery and wealth beyond all imagination have filtered back to the Old World. Are expeditions being planned? Certainly. Are any of them motivated by anything but absolute faith, stunning brutality and bottomless greed? Certainly not! Granted, some fussy naysayers at the Imperial College of Altdorf insists the island has risen from the vast blue ocean itself, that its origins are entwined with fell sorcery, and that it is surely an omen of the End Times – but who cares? Sensible heads are hardly concerned by such scholarly nonsense! They know there’s gold to be made and glory to be had.

And that’s where you come in. You are the bold leader of a stalwart band of mercenaries, scofflaws, cutthroats and freelancers.



Your job is to conquer this land, or at the very least lend an armoured hand in plundering its riches.

Need Help With: The mechanics, basically. Right now, players can either explore various areas or fight things. Perhaps even both, if so inclined. There needs to be more than that though, doesn't there? You can’t build an RP based on those two things alone. Can you?

I've been marinating my idea about "gods-as-highschoolers" concept, and I'm still torn between reborn-gods and brand-new gods. Should I make the players pick a deity to reinterpret, or allow then to make their own, because I've two plotlines in mind that depend on this choice.

You can absolutely build an RP off of "explore/kill". It's the most basic rule of P2tM: offer murder and they will come.
