Or maybe something even more inspired.

I think an rp set in a world similar to the above could be interesting, though i was thinking more of a mix between classical fantasy and modern times, with a threat of undead.

I want to start a RP that combines both aspect of Danganronpa and Hunger Games, with some original twists. It will be a multiverse RP too. As for the OOC, I have already written it in the other app and finished it, though to be honest, it still needs some polish, as well as adding spoilers to make it neat
My Dispatch

There used to be a Werewolf series that completed several games. Also a Mafia series that was quite excellent. I once led the Mafiosi to a flawless victory :P

I remember that after you (or maybe someone else) won such a game, in the next iteration, you/he was first to bite the dust.

Myself was also once a mafioso and we have brutally massacred the entire town. I think it was the very first NS mafia. Those were the good old days!

Then one time I played a special evil role and deliberately undermined my own reputation with massive bluffs to confuse the hell out of everyone. So much was the confusion that the bad guys made horrific mistakes and I managed to get them all lynched and then won with my secret powers... muahahaha.

Anyway, I actually have devised a similar game called Dr. Strangelove.

DR. STRANGELOVE COMPRESSED RULES (Forum Version):

Each player is a president/prime minister/dictator of a nation and in control of a massive nuclear arsenal. But there is a catch! Each day, you can only fire 1 nuke on 1 nation, and you can never attack the same nation twice (except in some rare cases)! Every nuke you fire increases the fallout, which, if reaches a specific level, everyone loses, (except for Dr. Strangelove who wants the world to end). Fallout decreases slowly over time.

There are good leaders who want to keep world peace and evil leaders who want to achieve world domination by nuking all the goodies. Naturally, who's good and evil is a secret. Also, to destroy a nation, that nation must receive a specific amount of nuke attacks, equal to the number of evil players. Dr. Strangelove is also an evil player.

The Evil players do not know who are the other evil or who's Dr. Strangelove, not at the start. They actually have to signal the other evil players that they are evil. To help this process, their evil organization is given a "codename" which is a really exotic word, hard to fit in sentences, all evil know this word at the start, so they can recognize if someone else uses it.

There are no lynchings. Instead, good nations have nukes of their own which they can use on everyone else. Use of Telegrams is strictly banned throughout the game (except for in special cases).

As extra flavor, special cards/abilities/roles can be added. Also, Although everyone is allowed to fire nukes, not everyone has to fire nukes.

One final rule: People who fire nukes or use covert abilities are "Detected", by which I mean it becomes known who fired nukes or played special actions, but what he or she has done is not known, only the net result of all actors. However, a set amount of players each day is selected for "Deep Cover", which means that if they do night actions, they will not be detected. Alternatively, some players might be forced to take night actions. Think of small and big blind in poker.

So now that I'm done with school forever, I'm going to launch my Hunger Games RP within the week. After further thought about my original idea, there will be multiple factors that depend on survival:

A. Popularity
B. Survival Skills, Abilities, and Inventory
C. Environment
D. Projected Survival Chances (usually only referenced if players have disputes)
E. Events

One thing that drives me nuts is naming the world that is sponsoring all this Multiverse Chaos. I know that Panem is named for "bread and circuses." I wanted something similarly meaningful here, too.

I also have scheduled the gameplan of each Games played. Tributes are allowed one week of training before the Games. On day 1, the Tributes meet their Mentor or "Seeker." Day 2 is the parade with all the tributes and sponsors. Days 3-5 are for training. Day 6 is the Interviews that determine starting popularity. Day 7 is generally used for meeting the other tributes and sponsors (alliances are usually formed here).

Not 100% finished yet but just wanted to see what you guys think of this OOC, obviously going to finish for sting soon so it's not a mass of text and numbers

Arytorska, a land of rolling hills and thick old forests that span hundreds of miles, sprinkled with towns and hamlets. A land once united under the rule of King Sviatoslav. Through his military exploits he marched his armies through much of what we now know as Arytorska and uniting the petty kingdoms of the region. Legend has it that he wore a suit of armor made of the bones a prophesied dragon Bogzhyverya which was given to him by the earth mother Syrva Zemla. He spent 30 years of his life by the sword in unifying his Kingdom and establishing a new society of his creation until his passing.

However nowadays this is little more than just a story told to children to distract them from the realities of the world. Arytorska is a land engulfed in civil war. The land a nation in name only. Dozens of Knyaz’s ruling over an equal number Knyazhestvo’s and all are at war with one another. No allegiances, no loyalties, only the reckless race to become the most influential. King Sviatoslav’s lineage is a shell of its former glory, the Boy King Gnevovit II was the last of the old monarchy, his father impaled and left to rot on a hill with the petty commoners that found themselves in the path of the armies of Hvalzlatagrad. His mother died by suicide as the armies of Zajogard pounced on a Royal convoy through the forests of Ctisava. He now rules with an iron fist and with the impotence of the regency he exerts complete control over what is left of their former kingdom.

The land is embroiled in war, it's not uncommon to travel abroad and find the bodies of dead soldiers scattered across. But the many peoples and races of the kingdom have found ways to try and cope, while men get drafted women take on the home duties and children work to supplement the income of the household, many go hungry. It's said that if the butcher has meat in store you don't ask what it is, you just take it. After all it's better than bread a broth right? Crime is a real issue, people don't dare travel the roads alone and highwaymen and bandits roam the countryside with near impunity willing to take women and kill men to get what they desire. Little can be done as armies are always on the field at battle and the guards are focused on keeping the cities safe. The civilian population has no allegiance to the political entities of this was, they have Allegiance to those who provide and protect them.

You are a criminal, petty thief or a violent murderer, it doesn't matter now. You've been captured by the forces of King Gnevovit II and have been held in the dungeon in the capital of Vjencograd. You're punishment is death for your crimes, a typical punishment from the most evil of murderers to the lowliest of breads thieves. It didn't matter it all ended the same way. You've been dragged to the open square where the headman has his axe freshly sharpened ready to use. As you shuffle towards your imminent demise you hear the sounds of screaming in the background accented the sounds of clashing metal and then the popping of bows as they launched arrows through the sky. The guards who were their to ensure you deaths leave to defend the city, you are left for dead in the execution square. After a few fleeting moments a band of well armed and armored soldiers closed in on your area. One of them, dressed in a lavish silver lined armor, blue cap whipping in the wind, and a bloody sword in hand approaches you.

This is however not the end, but that start of a new journey and the start of a new age for Arytorska.

CLASSES

Classes are a pinnacle aspect of the world as it plays and allow you the skill sets to do your job. You're character has a base of 5 for all skills and attributes and their class, race, and gender all add or subtract to these. Below is a list of attributes and skills with brief run downs of each.

Races

Arytorskians
A people of many professions and of many capabilities. They're a tall fair skinned people who can be found throughout the former kingdom and constitute the majority of the population. They are considered the “ruling people” by those who are under their authority as they command nearly all the governing authority through their monopoly of the nobility.

Concentrated in the agricultural heartland region. The Arytorskians are known mainly for their political dominance. An intelligent people who have benefitted from the old kingdom and have used that to their advantage. They now dominate the economic and agricultural social classes. Their prowess as warriors should also not be understated.

Lakhmids:
Semitic people who immigrated to the south of Arytorska many years ago from their homeland in in the far south. The people have integrated into the culture fairly well and have made a name for themselves as skilled soldiers.

The Lakhmids have found their place in society slowly and through strife and conflict. Pushing out many Arytorskan and Karlik natives from the south as they escaped from their doomed homelands in the far south. Eventually after establishing their new homeland in the south of the old kingdom they slowly integrated themselves and through their exploits on the battlefield they've become a race which is accepted by the ruling elites.

Attribute Modifiers
Endurance: +5

Skill Modifiers
Blade, Archery, & Light armor +10

Zemno:
Half fish half human, or so the stories say. The Zemno are a race of humanoid beings who live in the marshes of the south east. They have laid claim to their territory for centuries and have proven themselves masters of the aetherial arts. They've made their home in the eastern marshes with very little emigration elsewhere within the old empire. They are a very insular people with little willingness to spread the knowledge they've developed in their time in the marshes.

The Zemno are easily the most distrusted of the races within the old kingdom. Their appearance is “unholy” to the Arytorskians with its blue slimy skin and gills along their necks. Regularly unallowed into settlements they must disguise their appearance often when traveling outside their homeland.

Attribute Modifiers

The Nemec or as they refer to themselves, the Götha are another human race of Arytorska. While very much the physical equal of the Arytorskan they possess a unique language and culture. They have a long history of superb swordsmanship and many say they are unequaled in one on one battle.

A people as old as the land they grew up alongside the other native races a were originally followers of the Oedic Pantheon just as they were. However as the Arytorskians, Humans who came from the west began settling and conquering the other races the Nemec split along ideological lines. Some sided with the invading Arytorskians, others fought against them. As the years have past and the political landscape shifted the Nemec have found themselves controlling the most industrious cities and being the most highly sought after warriors in the old kingdom.

Attribute Modifiers
Strength: +5

Skill Modifiers
Blade, Shield,& Heavy Armor +10

Karlik:
The Karlik are a small framed race of humanoids, made distinct by their bronze skin and white hair and green eyes. The tallest of their kind can only stand to the shoulders of the average Arytorskan. They are a frail people but make up for this with speed and agility.

One of the old races of Arytorska (know in Kariaith as Cadaernlê) they have lived in the dense forests of the old kingdom for millennia. While the Karlik have stories on how the various races came to be none have any stories on their origins. The Karlik once ruled over a large culture which valued the academic endeavours. They had the first written language and spread this to the other races before the Arytorskians came and assimilated much of the Karlikian culture into theirs with significant modifications. They now live in a few cities within the thick missy forests of Arytorska, the majority however have assimilated into the cities of the Arytorskians and have left their ancient ways behind.

Damn. I'm toing to start a Danganronpa/Hunger Games Multiversal RP. Also, I have finished most of the OOC (except character roster, some links, and OP and Co-OP positions)

The Despair Game

Introduction

You woke up in a strange room inside a high building, in a bed, with IV being attached to your arm and with an oxygen mask, and the window overlooking what looks like an abandoned city. You then tried to move around, removing the IV and oxygen mask, and finding that there are many similar people (some of them not Human) who are stuck in the same situation as you. Suddenly, a voice can be heard from the speaker, announcing that they all must kill each other, then a certain evil Teddy Bear appeared.

Concept

Basically, this is a multiversal RP with both Hunger Games/Danganronpa concepts being mixed to one concept, your character must try to survive or work together. You can do a "Free time" event with another characters, band together to survive, or try to have someone killed, through your weapon (there will be more complex interactions that you can try yourself, like betraying an alliance). The weapons in question are designed to be non-lethal even if you use it in a way that it's supposed to be lethal, so a gun will have plastic bullet, the club will be lighter and softer that it's not as lethal, etc. However, if the victim (or two) get hit in a normally lethal way by the weapon, then they will be considered breaking the rule, put on short trial about their rule breaking (and for some reason, other supposedly illegal things they commit before this, both in the game or before) and executed. As for the ultimate title, be creative and you can have more than one title (this means that for example, if you RP as Katniss Everdeen, then you can put the "Ultimate District 12 Victor" title, and optionally, put another ultimate title. In addition, there will be waves system, meaning that after certain period of time and conditions, such as certain number of characters being killed, 16 new characters will be send to this place, and motive system, where the main villain will try to motivate murder by making various new motives. There will be also zones (which will be unlocked each wave)

Rules

1. You can have unlimited number of characters
2. Don't godmod, as is writing less than one paragraph or one liner post. Mininum one paragraph each post, though if the post is the character talking, it don't have to be one paragraph mininum
3. NS rules apply
4. If a player become absent for at least a week without informing the reason, then their characters will be executed
5. If you want to kill a character or two, get the character's players consent in a TG, stating the name of the character, the character doing it, what they use, and the motive
6. More rules to come if anything happened in the RP
7. Have fun!

I too once made a hunger games-like RP,
Except for, I lost the massive OOC I wrote in a freak accident.
It had magic too, and the player's weren't aware that they would be playing in "the hunger games" until halfway into the RP.

No, I mean, the RP didn't start cause the OOC was gone before I could post it, and I was too demoralized to start over.

My drafts have also disappeared (or maybe just didn't save in the first place).

But, I imagined, the RP would have turned into a bloodbath without me dropping the players in an arena.

Just giving them destructive magic would have been quite enough to start that.

In the U.S., fear of communism and Russia. Also culture wars with women voting, race issues, drug issues, you name it.
The Clockwork Circus - Welcome to a steampunk RP rife with crime, gangs, beggars, and starting off as the lowest of the low, in the lowest socio-economic place there is.

Fascist Remnants, Communist Infiltrators, Americanism, The Atomic Age, and Operation Werewolf.

Could have plots that take place in small carribian countries where nationalistic, democratic, and communist forces clash for control- all while larger then life antagonists from Nazi Officers who escaped the trials, to Soviet Supermen.
