Hey, how well do you think you know about law enforcement and all the stuff it entails.

I know jack shit and the people who asked apparently knew jack shit too.

I went to see the Air Force recruiter but found he wasn't there. The Marine recruiter (who is known for being persistent) asked me how I knew rank structure and was like "I'm a CAP cadet". And strangely enough, he didn't ask me to join the Marines.

Guess he gave up after I told him I'm in the Air Force Auxiliary.

Dieselpunk is just steampunk with internal combustion when you get down to it.

I feel like this is a place I should be involved in. Hello, everyone.
Where must we go, we who wander this wasteland, in search for our better selves?
In Egypt's sandy silence, all alone,
Stands a gigantic Leg, which far off throws
The only shadow that the Desert knows:—
"I am great OZYMANDIAS," saith the stone,
"The King of Kings; this mighty City shows
"The wonders of my hand." The City's gone,
Nought but the Leg remaining to disclose
The site of this forgotten Babylon.

We wonder, and some Hunter may express
Wonder like ours, when thro' the wilderness
Where London stood, holding the Wolf in chace,
He meets some fragment huge, and stops to guess
What powerful but unrecorded race
Once dwelt in that annihilated place.

As much as I've heard. How does chemical engineering work in this setting, and how does it differ from our setting?

I'd assume that the engineering would be able to produce a number of elements that you wouldn't be able to produce otherwise, whether their properties be similar to Tugnsten or Hydrogen, or a completely new element that you can basically make up as you go as a combination of other elements that would be able to assist you or hurt you in the RP. It would probably help if these elements helped create/were created from the Dieselpunk attitude. Though I'm not sure I should really be advising on this, I wasn't aware that Dieselpunk was a thing until now, and I'm not that familiar with Steampunk.

I know absolutely nothing about it, seeing as I've created 2 separate law enforcement RPs. :p

Gaian Gendarmerie, their basically the guys that enforce the law on Gaia, guard Gaian embassies and protect important people.

The one we are playing are stationed in the Slums, the biggest part of the planet size city of Gaia, near the only non-city part of the city-The Wasteland. Where patrols are lost and come back five or so years later...not aging a bit.

I could help conceptually. But I'm kind of preparing to launch a few RPs of my own along with rebooting a few others, so I wouldn't want to commit to you and then leave suddenly.

Funny enough, he can't really swim, so to past the swimming test, he doggy paddled. He was the head of communications if I remember correctly.

I consider my nation to be dieselpunk. In my nation there are no jet engines, there are no transistors, and there is no atomic fission. Characteristic technologies of my nation include biplanes and triplanes, zeppelin airships, early automobiles, submachine guns, primitive electronics utilizing vacuum tubes, etc. The world The High Tatras is set in often has mad scientists building superweapons, sky pirates with triplanes and zeppelins, mobsters with tommy guns and dynamite, private detectives in trench coats and fedoras, adventurers searching for lost civilizations and legendary artifacts with mysterious powers, and corrupt businessmen and politicians plotting wars for profit.
