Since my Slavianka 1916 RP isn't catching on, and none such realpolitik has occurred as of yet, I'd like to know right now. What sort of historical RP is the community looking at here?

Currently there is an 1816 AWRP that is stuck in the fourth page of P2TM, with three or so players. Their history is confusing, however.
1870 has had the curse of the reboot, that is almost 6(?) reboots that go inactive after several IC pages.
Its spiritual successor 1868 couldn't kick off because the main catalyst for all events couldn't happen (which is as much the problem with Slavianka too -- whereas it was Spain we were waiting for in 1868 to boot their Queen, in 1916 we wait for the Russians to actually get it on.)
New Imperialism has remarkably survived for quite some time. Good job Alleniana.
The 1911-1914 RPs I've seen never develop into anything interesting.
We've had Marsisian's 1860 - 1940 RPs that go inactive after six or so IC pages. They're good at drawing in applicants, but interest dies down fairly quick.
I can't begin to count the number of 1938 RPs I've been in.
There is the Cold War and post-Cold War segment. Never really catches on.

I therefore postulate that the period from 1871-1878 and 1900 - 1908 (but avoiding any number divisible by five) is a good setting for a healthy RP. I could be wrong, however, and I would like to hear the community's input on what time setting most intrigues them.

1. Great OP
2. Unique setting (real world, late 19th century, which until then no one had done)
3. Zero restrictions on application
4. Successors willing to keep the project alive

Well, I will either make a diplomat RP where people play as diplomat and his/her posse.

Or a starship RP about the Zeus-Class Dreadnought during the Gaian-Ragon war (Only because I don't feel like making another universe only for it to be assimilated into the Gaiaverse) on the first and most famous one-The Odin.

I doubt you want all your characters too die in the Frigg....let's just say something bad happened to it.
