See, I would have said "The Chicago Cubs" and then proceeded to talk about their best point guard, Eric Staal.

That's not bad.

If I thought about that when I was up doing it, I think I would have done something with the Broncos.

Vietnam doesn't need to have an opinion on the matter. The biggest, greatest haemorrhages of government spending and force can't possibly hope to slow down the steaming train that is the internal development of China.
Roski wrote:
There's been talk of China's endless expanding building cities, China's building cities with the intent to generate revenue, and give the absolutely gargantuan population a place to live. Sounds all nice and dandy, and it would seem to someone who didn't pay very well attention that China was building something beneficial.

However, here's the problem: They're costing too much money to make for what their output is, in fact, entire towns that have been built still have a population of 0, despite the fact that they cost a lot of money to make.

Even worse, China's not letting up. Its a bit like a cancer cell at this point - China won't stop making cities, even though they are doing absolutely nothing to generate revenue.

And some think this will pop during the next few years, and that China will not be able to survive it.

Survive? That's a bit like saying that the US plasma television industry's collapse will result in the union's dissolution.

The real estate market is generally much more significant than consumer electronics. Banks don't make mortgages for tellies.

Oh, no, I don't mind our head of state (Lizzy) at all. She doesn't really do much, so no one has much reason to hate her.

Our head of government (Harper), on the other hand, is hated by most Canadians.

Didn't they found the remains of some King (Who name I think was Charles, because Charles is apparently the go to name for a King) and people were making a buzz over the Queens lineage?

I remember the King's remains being found, but I don't think Her Majesty's lineage has ever been in question.

There have only between two English kings named Charles, so probably not, no.

The most recent story I can think of along those lines is Richard III, an ancestor no English monarch is exactly in a rush to remind people of.

"From 2010 to 2025, it is estimated by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development that 300 million Chinese now living in rural areas will move into cities. The fast pace of urbanization will create at least 1 trillion yuan in annual investment opportunities in building water supply, waste treatment, heating and other public utilities in the cities."
Could a bubble appear? Yes. But at the rate things are going down, it might well be the supply that has to catch up, considering that the current rate of urbanisation is faster than this IIRC.

Charles is indeed the go-to name for Europe as a whole, though. It's been used throughout Scandinavia, across Germany, in Spain, in France, and in areas in eastern Europe, and of course, the British isles.

Because he has a (by all means unearned) reputation as a tyrannical, child-murdering, ambitious shitbag.
