Generally speaking, I think most of my protagonists are people who try to do the right thing (or at their worst, make intelligent but morally questionable decisions), and fail miserably in their attempts most of the time either due to their own character flaws, their skill flaws, collective human nature, or just bad luck.

This. This is good satire.

Emphasis on the weird. Also, I'm still severely miffed at him for creating that repetitive monstrosity known as "Happy".

Happy is much like boy band music: Annoying, repetitive, and easily weaponized.

I'll be quite frank here, I find very very little music to be bad. Among the music that I do dislike is some over-storied operas, and the heaviest of death metal (which is quite literally growling in that it's impossible to mark their tone as a note), but I can't think of any other music I dislike.
