"The typical Palmeran school masters in behaviorism. Since they enter Secondary School (Jr. High and High School), school uniforms are used. In this case the Chinese-style Young Pioneer getup. However, the uniform doesn't do anything special. There are no visible signs for newcomers or upperclassmen.

However, here's the odd difference between other uniforms we know of. There is no fancy seal like in some other countries' schools, there's a number. The number indicates the public school because the schools have numbers and are only referred to as such. It saves time. And here's what differentiates them: there's a specific form of individualization. An ID and name tag is used every day that is acquired at the beginning of the year.

Why such seemingly insignificant little details? The first part hints them as equals in a hierarchy, it contextualizes their roles. The second individualizes them. This was done based on experiments made by Zimbardo. If managed correctly, it decreases schoolyard aggression by provoking self-awareness and guilt should antisocial conduct occur. Odds are bullying will never be gone at a 100% but this is a subtle measure. No awareness talks, no nothing. We will observe and see how things progress. And then maybe there will be school-ground awareness education and other such...how do you say it...santurronería, eh, gazomoñería...Prudery! That's it. I personally believe bullying to be an unfortunate but inevitable side effect of personalities clashing, at most we can only reduce it to relative harmlessness.

Now, what do you think your schools do? I understand you're one of the most individualist peoples in the world, but frankly...just accept we waste a little bit more on education than you do and people can generally afford to do so. We are a Representative Republic; I'm sure that people would complain about education costs if they were high but nobody or few have. But, to say we oppress people, that we take away the cognitive experiences? That we suppress people and treat them as tabula rasa? Oh, no. That's dreadfully horrifying. The uniforms only contextualize their role. Their outcome is based on their merit as students.

You think your country has no such thing? In your country people come and go to school with the clothing they like, they chatter on about trivialities related to social status in a school environment. They want to be oh so unique but they all also must follow trends, where's the uniqueness now? And worse, it creates another brand of conformity where everyone looks at themselves in the mirror. This brand of conformity contextualizes social harmony for a supposedly shared goal for all properly motivated students. And by conformity do note that I mean the acceptance of roles and norms...something that occurs in all functional societies. We're simply more interconnected from individual to individual, no hard feelings. But feel free to ask more questions."

-A superintendent and a tourist, most probably from the US who asked about school uniforms

The first odd tourist strawman thing.

Burn away the crucifix
And light those disused incense sticks
Consume the pews that seat the twits
Arise Hel!

And smash the vulgarities of stained glass
Sacrifice the lying hearts
Incinerate this ancient farce
And see it sealed!

And fulfill that lying pastor's fears
Spoken in Prayers that no one hears
These fools who jubilate in tears
They shall shriek!

Spare not the pious hypocrites
Who return home to whore and drink
They dare not question
They hate to think
Roast them all!

Interrupt their futile prayers
They filthy the water!
They pollute the air!
Muttering in uncomfortable chairs
Fixing us with hateful stares
Blaming "them" for synthetic cares
Retribution Cometh!

But save the talented organist
Its not his fault to serve such pricks
His faith is wary of their tricks
And from this house of rats and tics
There lies art!

"This feeble attempt at the self-dismissal of the greatest shopping list of failures in history signifies and embodies the very nature of this house of cards that pretends to govern, for let it be said that the complete abdication of responsibility [by the Fortree Ministry] is neither consolation nor remedy for the crises of the past!"

- Sir Charles Victor Wolis Solistern,1966, Leader of the Opposition's Speech on the Himalayan Emergency, as recorded in the Imperial Hansard

The damning and catastrophic end to Sir Charles V.W. Solistern's (Prime Minister, 1959-1963, 1967-1971, Leader of the Opposition, 1958-1959, 1963-1967) speech in the Imperial Parliament given in response to the handling by Augustus P. Fortree's government of the Himalayan Emergency. This landmark address was one in which Solistern launched an almost unparalleled attack on the limp Fortree government's record - an act that, by extension, caused the snap general election of early 1967 and the coming to office of Solistern and Liberal and Unionist Party once more.

"The men who volunteered for the Astronaut Corps in the early days have always impressed me. Why? Look at what they did. Some of them went to the Moon in ships the size of a bunch of phone booths tied together, guided by computers with less processing capacity than my wristwatch, and with no rescue plan if anything failed. They were it, and if some mechanism broke down, they'd have to fix it themselves or just...die. Even the ones who only got to float around in Earth orbit for a few hours deserve our awe."

~ Dr. Alexandra Burroughs, astronaut.

"The Death-Whispers... I can't go into detail, I won't go into detail, but they peek into other worlds now and then. One of the things they saw was a war construct, a massive ship made of metal with great cannons that could blast coastlines and other metal ships to smithereens across great distances. The people called those terrifying things 'Dreadnoughts.' When the Death-Whispers thought 'What should we name our offence-based, eight-foot tall and armour-clad Will-User and attack dog?' Dreadnought came to mind quite quickly."

"I am a projection, Mr. Zorilla. I'm a necessity to see a desired or undesired trait extended onto a material plane. Nothing more and nothing less. My passivity is a recall that reflects your need for control. But my submissiveness teaches you to expect certain things and you act in your ways to do so; in a sense I'm also controlling you: and that's pleasant.

The insects say I have a very pretty kimono. They say it with their chirping, buzzing, and hops.

But, what am I? I don't really know. I can see a figure but I don'd know how to describe it. And if I can see myself out of my body, then it must mean that the body isn't really me. Reasonably somebody can't see themselves in that way."

"Disturbing complication of the human condition was that during the Great War in Belkaland despite that Imperial (and sometimes Usean) soldiers were indeed religious zealots and fully believed in what they were doing, those operating machine guns had to be replaced... within hours of an offensive operation because they killed that many Belkans..." - Sir Alexander Yordanov

"Drip drip went the translucent saliva of the creature as it came out of it's mouth, it changed colors and shapes in mid air as they fell from it's wide mouth. It had a man's face though.

Here it led me to a special room; a tea room. Kyoto-style. An old woman with a young girl's face poured pebbles. Like clear-glass that changed colors. They united like water and turned liquid. I took the tea and drank it and this caused me to rise up: before I knew it the entire lights of the city below me became insignificant as I was pushed towards a darkness. I can't really tell if I was moving really fast or really slow because rays of light passed every once in a while. Like when you look at sunlight from a crack and you can see tons of little particles that look like the rings of Saturn.

I stopped, or I was followed by a voice. An odd voice with no sex. Almost artificial. It told me that I wasn't myself; and that I should look in the mirror. There was no reflection in the mirror."

"Somebody from a USA expy (Massena, Bereia sort of, and all others) will most probably base their reasoning on some Protestant branch of Christianity and could possibly explain things using Creationism.

An Auzkhian will tell you that living organisms can't question their benevolent sky creators. But that their instructions are good. Creation isn't discussed.

A Saurisisian will say the same; but will emphasize on good and evil. And judging by their standards, the Palmeran universe is one of evil creatures; with moral depravity, relativism, odd sexual customs...and far east animation.

A Ruridovan will say that creation was most likely a sub-atomic interaction that occurred at least a bit more than a dozen billion years ago.

A Pameran will say that creation was most likely a sub-atomic interaction that occurred at least a bit more than a dozen billions years ago...caused by the inhalation and exhalation of a Brahma-like intelligence. This explains expansion and contraction through respiration. Along with multiple universes; the sesame seeds...beads of sweat of that Brahma-ripoff."
