It said to throw it away if it falls off. Could just be the drug company saying that to get more money, but I only pay $1.25 per patch through the Meijer pharmacy, so...
I did, shaved the area today while I was in the shower. Went over it again after the patch fell off.

You can only wear it on your lower abdomen? Can you switch which side? Also, is there any way for you to put it on your lower back, parallel to your lower abdomen area? I ask because I used the Orthoevra patch for a while (which is a low dosage estrogen treatment for birth control), and my OBGYN said it was good to rotate the area of exposure to the patch. Of course, in your case, maybe you can't but you can always ask your doctor. It seems the lower abdomen placement isn't working for you as it should. Which is odd, because your underwear should help in keeping it in place. :/

I rotated the side last night. It does say that you can put it on the lower back, I believe. I'll look at the instructions again, I have to put another one on in a few minutes.

That's indeed one wide patch. Hopefully having rotated contact area helps.

Well, on your next change, clean the area with soap and warm water, dry good, and apply the patch. It maybe that your sebaceous cells in that area are going haywire. But the tape could also be good if you still experience the patches coming loose.

It is indeed quite large.

Can't do much better than showering this time, I think that's got it pretty clean.
Possibly it's the estrogen making my skin slightly more oily. I wouldn't be terribly surprised. The tape can be used as a good precaution, though, to prevent it from coming off this time.

I hear it's particularily nasty. Fortunately, Santiago's infrastructure is built to withstand some pretty nasty stuff. Don't know much about the rest of the country, though. I'm quite worried for all our Chilean friends.
