I really wonder how Texas will turn out these Senate elections though; we're beginning to become a battleground state (which means we get to be pestered by both Republicans and Democrats in elections! Yay!) so this senate elections will be an interesting experiment in demographics and how the opinion of the state is changing.
I certainly hope it ceases to be s battleground state. I am sure there are things that need to be taken care and are being neglected due to senate petty differences. You know, the usual.
As of the moment people are scared because we have been solidly republican with only the metropolitan areas being democrat, but that's changing slowly after the fiasco of the Tea Party taking a hold and several Texas Republicans being swallowed into their ranks. Also, with the latest anti-abortion law that passed several young adults are pretty pissed at a Republican state congress that doesn't realize what they're doing.
