I really wonder how Texas will turn out these Senate elections though; we're beginning to become a battleground state (which means we get to be pestered by both Republicans and Democrats in elections! Yay!) so this senate elections will be an interesting experiment in demographics and how the opinion of the state is changing.

I certainly hope it ceases to be s battleground state. I am sure there are things that need to be taken care and are being neglected due to senate petty differences. You know, the usual.

As of the moment people are scared because we have been solidly republican with only the metropolitan areas being democrat, but that's changing slowly after the fiasco of the Tea Party taking a hold and several Texas Republicans being swallowed into their ranks. Also, with the latest anti-abortion law that passed several young adults are pretty pissed at a Republican state congress that doesn't realize what they're doing.

I have come to the sad conclusion that every Sharuhk Khan Bollywood movie is the same. Boy meets girl, boy and girl hate each other at first, boy and girl begin to fall in love but don't tell each other, boy gets separated from girl due to parents/prior betrothal/freaky accident, girl or boy realizes they love each other, something far fetched happens, boy ends up with girl. The end.

I am serious. Every single one of his films I've seen is pretty much the same with variations on setting, cast and location.

I like the stories where there are power struggles going on between boy and girl (affluent man and independent woman; affluent woman and independent man) rather than petty fighting (two affluent/poor people mocking each other).

Look at the water, look at the beaches, look at the palm trees!
Your nation is like a son. What it does right is your merit, as well as what it does wrong is your fault. When you praise it, be lucid and avoid exaggeration. Praising it too much can make it indolent. On the other hand, when you criticize it, be harsh, but do not ridicule it. Do your best to improve it, not through derision or disdain, but through good examples and dedication.

And I'm not sure if you two are as interested in this, but a double whammy is the fact that asteroids were just added to Kerbal Space Program in the most recent patch.

I learned briefly about the Enron scandal in Econ, but only a bit. Most of what I know about it, I learned on RationalWiki.
