He blocks one strike and fends off another before, cutting one's leg off and finishing it. 2 left, he thought as he charged them, his blade drawn level with their hearts. He gets deflected with one strike and is finally able to land a critical hit after several minutes of vicious fighting. He turns as the other figure begins to circle him.
