TET closes, Divair leaves NS suddenly, getting kicked out by my landlord in a couple of weeks, gonna have to find a house/apartment within that time and somehow deal with my cat moving for the first time, totally broke at the moment, at the end of the month we might not even have the money to buy food; Fuck February. Damn it, damn it all to hell. Now my anxiety is building up. At least I have Bobby McFerrin to keep my mood at a marginal level.

Eh, Feb. always seems to be the worst month. Last year, at this time, I was severely depressed and considering suicide. Luckily, it only lasted about 3 weeks. Changed my whole world view, led me to Christianity. I still have lingering anxiety from that, but it's minimal, and I can usually control it. Frankly, if it hadn't been for NS convincing me otherwise, I don't know if I'd be here. Also, I have had a chocolate croissant. I microwaved it and now it's all warm and goopy inside. This is pretty much the same thing as TET so I don't see why they bothered to get rid of it. Something similar will always take its place.

If you check Gren's OP, you'll get a complete reason as to why TET was put down. At least for now.

And hopefully, the ground rules I've set out in said OP will encourage us to maintain a basic level of quality that would keep the next TET series (assuming there is one) from going downhill like the last series.

Actually, IIRC, that wasn't the reason, but rather, several other people (not me, but I do have contacts who were) were a little concerned by his repeated glomping of underage girls, and thought maybe he might've cybered with one or more of them on here. I spend time regularly with 2 friends met on NS, and optimistic plans to meet a few in one stretch in the late summer, that I'm looking forward to.

Two of my best friends are from NS. Gallo and Gidge. Gidge recently visited me.

I love Gidge. I'm hoping to visit her in Calgary at some point early next year.
Gallo was quite entertaining from the phone call I remember. That was fun.
You both were wicked cool to talk to.

But, if things go right, what I'm looking at is the middle of August.
a regionmate is coming from Israel on a cross-country trip, and I'm hanging with him on August 16th, and maybe 17th.
Then if things work as planned:

Hath and Ericka on the 19th and 20th, See you and Gallo on the 22nd and 23rd (or 23rd and 24th, trying to do quick math on hours and getting dizzy) Nashville on the 24th-26th, to see my family members and Joshy, Charlottesville on the 27th to hang with Minor and Sibirsky, Richmond on the 28th to see Tiami, then back home.

I'll need boss approval, but seeing that she's been rather vocal about encouraging it, i doubt it'll be much of a problem, except for possibly shrinking the time spent at each place down to maybe a day instead of 2.
