I had a discussion with a friend on the partitioning of the Ottoman Empire, the secession of Turkey, and then the collapse of the empire last Tuesday. It was really engaging. We're going to go see if MSU has a history club, and join it, if not, create our own.
I never understood why my sister had so much trouble with APWH last year, when I took it, I could pretty much nap through the class. All learning history is is memorization of facts. that's super simple. How anyone could not get that is troubling.

English is often essential in high schools these days; you often have to take all 4 years of it.
