It's anything to do with the political side of the RP apart from bills. So if your post has a political message or is of a political nature other than debate or bill and it's drawing attention to a political group, party or otherwise it would be a political announcement in the senate. That is how I have always thought of it and always raised Points or order over.

a) Sorry, but no. A senate announcement, as suggested by the name, is related to the senate. It is a political announcement, but that does not make it a senate announcement. I will refuse to even try and reason with you on this point.

What we need is the Daily thread back up and running. Cos that was the place created for stuff like that.

Meh, I guess.

"Advertising- the senatorial act or practice of calling public attention to one's party, candidacy, or senate announcement"

Dismissed. Not advertising.

I'm not that bothered about it really , you know how against the amendment I was at the time. But I subscribe the "The best way to get a bad law repealed is to enforce it strictly." so it's not reasoning with me rather than the strictest possible interpretation. Which I would believe would include anything possibly with a political point thus advertising. It depends how strict an admin is, but I want the law repealed.

If you want it repealed so badly, why don't you write a bill instead of wasting your team trying to piss Glasgia off?

Because of the pass margin. One has to show all the seemingly unintended consequences thus what an annoying bill it is first. That it's one of those "Seemed like a good idea at the time." laws. Thus trying to repeal such a bill relatively soon after it has passed is pointless.

Today, the Communist Party (Marxist-Leninist) commemorates the death of Comrade Stalin. His achievements will not be forgotten. Trash may have been heaped onto his grave, but history will exonerate him.

So I just noticed something. I wrote this into a law that passed, you can be thrown in prison for life if you traffic harmful materials or X class drugs.

So those guys playing with anthrax can potentially be seeing life in prison. Just saying.

X class drugs are meant to be deadly drugs, so I would agree with such a sentence.

I'm confused on why terrorism is such a big thing in Aurentina when it would seem that our broad spectrum of parties enjoying political success would suggest that conventional political behaviour is much more successful here than elsewhere.

It's an OOC thing. We have people who want to have fun RPing terrorist attacks, no matter how unrealistic they may be.

I tried RPing realistic attacks and they were ignored, hence why I refuse to RP in this senate now.
