Comrades, today I welcome you. I welcome you to a new age and a new fight. Abandoned by the Trotskyite counter-revolutionaries, a group far more loyal to the bourgeoisie than the proletarians, those still loyal to the Marxist cause must continue our fight without such traitors. It is clear that the democratic revolution is worthless and so too is that of the Trotskyites, too afraid to combat the bourgeoisie control of their lives. It now falls to us and all those behind the banners of Marx and Lenin to advance the revolution, against all who stand for the bourgeoisie in their fortresses of wealth. This is not the declaration of war, even if the bourgeoisie's protectors may treat it as such, but rather the statement of intent from the Aurentine people, intent to free themselves of the chains of Capitalism.

Notanadmin, but technically since it's done by an organization and not a political party, and it isn't an advertisement but a public declaration, that specific part of the Ethics Act does not apply.

You don't have to be a political party, nor do you have to be actively looking for members. In fact the only times this Clause has ever been used is against posts not made by political parties but by people wishing to draw attention to other activities.

"All political party, senatorial, election, or promotional advertising shall be prohibited in any NSG Senate threads and must be performed solely through telegram." is the exact text. This is promotional advertising. Promotional is anything that draws attention to your cause.

I thought we were in Europe, not in Africa.

But seriously, this thing of having multiple organizations that are actually fighting for the same thing is kinda awesome.
I want to see how long this goes until the government has no power whatsoever.

Which is promotional as it draws attention to a cause.

Aside from the fact I believe only senators are supposed to make serious statements in the senate building threads. For the person to be able to post they must be in the senate which means we can just arrest them.

OOC If your standing by your original post you have to be here to make it. Hence arrest is possible.

It's totally irrelevant and is random in the context. Thank you very much. The only one that matters is the one in the Act, hence why I suggested you read the bill.

So the person who carried it in is being arrested.

It's a senate announcement as it's to do with political group. Just like Drago's petition counted as a political senate announcement.

It's anything to do with the political side of the RP apart from bills. So if your post has a political message or is of a political nature other than debate or bill and it's drawing attention to a political group, party or otherwise it would be a political announcement in the senate. That is how I have always thought of it and always raised Points or order over.

What we need is the Daily thread back up and running. Cos that was the place created for stuff like that.
