a few months ago i regularly got "there has been [one/two/three/four] bad login attempts since your last visit" because someone forgot that the had another word after 'san' in their nation name <.<

OK, getting a job is a bad idea. Since legally I'm still male, I'd likely be required to present as male for it.
Not a good idea at all, also considering the rules for SRS say that I have to present full time (at school or work and in public) as female for a year. It's probably combining school or work to mean occupation, and if I were to present in one but not the other I don't think it'd count.

There's a big M on my driver's license. With that there, I don't think I have much of a choice. The name isn't much of an issue; people go by names that aren't theirs legally all the time. But it's rare to find someone who goes by the gender (or sex, in the case of what my DL says) that is not theirs legally.

Who said we weren't? Because that is a total fucking lie. Out of all groups, transpeople get some of the worst discrimination, because people have now realised that you don't choose to be a supposedly "inferior" race, are starting to realise that you don't choose your sexuality and just are, but still believe that you want to "change sexes" rather than match your appearance with your gender.
