Maybe I'll spark a ferocious online argument, but the Irish drinking culture seems to be exactly the same as the British drinking culture.

I believe it's more about the alcohol tolerance of the Irish, compared to the British.

If anything the English culture is worse. We probably have more drinks than the English when we binge, but we don't usually drink during the day like they do.

Quite a few TETs ago we had a discussion around here who would win/survive an alcoholic marathon, the Irish, the Russians or the Finnish. It wasn't followed up by a real life binge drinking deathmatch, so no real damage was done.

All that remains is to show that biological systems replicate in such a way as to satisfy the minimal criteria required for evolution to apply to them, something which has already been adequately shown time and again. At this point, we've pretty much proven that not only can evolution happen, it pretty much must happen since it's basically impossible to prevent it from happening.

It would be more fitting if it was May, seeing as that is when May the 4th is.
