What Have You Learned Today?

It was an amazing thread. Predecessor to TET, except the pseudo RP was kept to a minimum, along with the greetspam. Mainly because it was only unofficially a chat thread, so in order for it to be considered on topic, we had to state what we learned that day, and discuss what others learned that day.

But there's probably a reason why WHYLT has ceased to be, right? I assume that many people were mentally incapable of the minimal amount of discipline needed to properly contribute to that thread.

There are two reasons, and both are more or less resolved.

1. One poster flamed another in the last 10 pages of the thread, causing it to be locked (and it lasted a long time. Longer than any single TET has, in terms of either length of time or number of pages, although it never moved as fast as TET often does, save for the last 25 or so pages).

2. The thread was so large that it was literally slowing down/lagging the forum. Its the reason why we make a new TET every 500 or so pages.
