Even if you're right, why does it matter?

And the Old Testament's law was fulfilled with the coming of the Messiah and was, thus, invalidated and no longer has any religious meaning to anyone who isn't a follower of Judaism.

Man, I 'm an agnostic myself, but please, don't be so demeaning to Christians which actually have a respectful, live and let live attitude towards homosexuals. You just make our side look bad and fuel the "secularists are anti-Christian!" drivel spouted by fundies.

Even if god does exist (chances are he doesn't) if he were to come down from the heavens from a rainbow riding a horse just so he could kick someone in the balls and then create a circular square ...

but people should be able to make their own decisions.

I can create square circles, is it good enough to declare me a deity?
Lo! Proof!
Risottia quoth, let R2 be the set of the ordered couples of real numbers. And lo, every a element of R2 was represented as (xa,ya). And Risottia quoth, let d:R2->R be defined as d(a,b)=|xa-xb|+|ya-yb| . Behold, for d is a metric function, that is a distance in the language of yore, over R2.
Now let a circle of radius r and centre p be put forth as the subset Br(p) of R2 defined as the set of all z such that d(z,p) is less or equal to r. And all the wise men came forth to see Risottia's wisdom, and they knew His name was Professor, because by representing R2 as a cartesian plane, all circles were now indeed squared.

So does that mean I can go out and murder someone since the 10 Commandments were in the Old Testament as well? The Old Testament was wiped away by the New Testament. The dynamic that changed was that through Christ's sacrifice, everyone can now go to Heaven if they choose to accept Jesus as their savior.
