I didn't own much things about Che, but I've read some of his thoughts. Interesting concepts, the ones he had.

Latin American Socialism is a very unique topic. Nothing like the Soviet Socialism/Communism movement.

I don't know much about him either in his later years, but I do know what prompted him to become communist. The U.S.-backed toppling of Arbenz in Guatemala, and the mistreatment of Cubans plus the general poverty he saw on his trip through Latin America shaped much of his thought in the early years as a Socialist revolutionary; I am not sure about his later years though.

To align Che and other Leftist movements with straight up Kemlin-backed politics is a severe misconception most people have in the U.S. though. The background of Latin America was unique in that sense, that socialism grew out of social discontent with the status quo rather than power like Leninism.

I don't remember why, but a few TET's a go I re-wrote the lyrics to this:
They're Sterny and the Div
Yes, Sterny and the Div
One is a cynic
The other's insane
They follow the gods' advice
All the heathens have been iced
They're not dinky
They're Sterny and the Div, Div, Div, Div, Div, Div

This was back when the cult was still a thing.

Che wasn't a bad person. Sure, he went against American interests, but he wasn't the evil communist people seem to depict him nowadays.

Sure, he had dealings with the Kremlin, but in a way even Ho Chi Minh had dealings with the Kremlin, and in Historical Studies we tend to see Minh as an entity all his own.

Seconded.
Your nation is like a son. What it does right is your merit, as well as what it does wrong is your fault. When you praise it, be lucid and avoid exaggeration. Praising it too much can make it indolent. On the other hand, when you criticize it, be harsh, but do not ridicule it. Do your best to improve it, not through derision or disdain, but through good examples and dedication.
