dude, go with a vegetarian diet, with half hour cardio and half hour resistance.
really, is not that complicated, but aim for a realistic goal like at least 6 months or so.
If I eat half as much, and exercise twice as much, can I get there in three months?Thafoo wrote:There's no such thing as a perfect body and I find it quite futile to work tirelessly for one.
There is indeed a perfect body, and achieving that would be a success in my book.

Because I want to lose another... 20 lbs if possible, and I really don't want to use this rib as an excuse not to exercise.

6 or 7, depending on what you're planning on doing.

You'll just trigger your body's "starvation" mode and make your metabolism go down, which will make it more difficult.
Keep in mind your body needs a minimum of calories to function, and for someone under heavy exercise (like, doing exercise five days a week for an hour) the estimated is about 1.5 times the required amount of calories. I need to consume a bit over 1800 to keep my muscle mass and lose weight just fine for instance and I diversify what I eat.
Then again I do light exercise.
