I didn't even know about sex until sixth-grade/middle school. My parents still have never talked to me about it. Not even once.

And I never had a sex-ed class in school. I literally found out when I was... 13, maybe 14 by older students on the bus.

I am not from U.S. I was raised in Central America where teenagers already want to have sex (and is much easier to get it).

My dad wanted to prevent us since children to actually be mindful of sex before we did something stupid and ended up getting a woman pregnant while we were teens (which down there is frowned upon unless they go out and then when they are 18 they marry, and the teen has to work to maintain the woman and the child even while not married). So really, he didn't want that scandal in the family so whenever we had a question about sex he answered it.

When I was 12 and was living a group home with a bunch of 12-14 kids.., yeah you find out just about everything about sex.

What I found out later when I was a teenager is that sex is SO varied, that I didn't want to go to bed with someone and not know what she was talking about so I educated myself on it.

Health class in high school was responsible for sex ed.

Never took health though. We were required 2 credits of health or P.E. I took P.E. all 4 years.
