Because they think that supporting it will win them a high position and a fancy black uniform.

Thank goodness no one I know of likes that sort of political system :p

So you think that by slapping on European culture, you can make Fascism alright?

Of course, because obviously culture only applies to the west *nods*

When I say "obviously", "clearly" or any other word related to it, I mean sarcasm

It was never not alright in the first place.

I don't understand your issue with it. You have a dictator (which I prefer to mix with Technocracy), you have nationalism (the other alternative is anarchy), and you have a military to defend that nation.

How is this bad?

Who could possibly not like Nelson Mandela?

It's not that they don't like Nelson Mandela. I actually kind of agree with what the person is saying, I just don't feel like it's an appropriate place or time.

They tend to shut up in real life, otherwise their career options are quite limited. Of course most online fascists, just like libertarians, are just school kids. And school kids tend to be blunt just for the sake of it.

Well, remember. Nazi Germany and Italia during WWII were bastions of progressive thinking and open-mindedness about differing paradigms.

They were secretly fighting WWII to spread diversity.

It's not even consistent.

Not sure if that sarcasm was mocking me or Lian.

I find both nationalism and the need for a load of gits with guns to defend it amusing.

It wouldn't work in the US. The US is supposed to be a giant melting pot of cultures and whatnot. But it is supposed to be nationalist. Nationalism doesn't relate to culture. Many cultures and many races can exist under one nation and still be supportive of it.

Yeah, the fact that we're all different is what unifies us (in theory, anyway). I like the idea but I wish it were more actively practiced in the US.

Politicizing a politician's death is inevitable.

I'd love libertarianism if it wasn't so vehemently opposed to corporate regulation. Everything else about it seems alright to me.
