Granted we might have less ice where I am than some parts of the country, but it isn't a problem until I have to drive and then remember that, for some reason, nobody around here is capable of driving intelligently on icy roads despite living in Montana which could just as easily have called itself the "Icy-as-all-get-out state" as the "Big Sky state".

See, here's the deal. I have two heating systems, an electric heat pump sans the strips and propane.

I can get by on pure heat conversion down to about 17 degrees. After that, I'm losing temp in the house, slowly but surely.

At some point tonight, I'm going to have to switch over to propane. Because propane is so fucking expensive, I'm holding off on that til I absolutely have to.

So here I sit, waiting. Watching the temp drop.
