March of the Patriots [NSG Senate]

Postby Aurentine Secret Patriotic Movement » Fri Nov 22, 2013 5:51 pm

It was a bright morning in suburban Inner West Leishaagen. The small group of dedicated organizers who had been planning for weeks gathered in a small park where the march was to begin.

40 or so people had showed up to a far corner, where Daniel Eichel, the local chapter leader, was speaking aloud.

"For too long, we the natives of Aurentina have been suppressed! Suppressed by foreign overlords who claim to care for us, to represent us. It's all lies! Today we warn them we will not be taking it any longer. We will march to the Senate and confront them or their many, many crimes.

Hal Aurentina!!"

"Hal Aurentina!" Replied the crowd with great fury.

They began to march away from the park and down the side of the main road. Slowly, groups of patriots from other parts of the city joined them. They carried banners calling for the end of the Senate and the trial of the leaders.

Soon, a crowd of more than 500 was marching towards the city.

Normal people watched as the protestors marched through the city.

"Scum!" One shouted.

Riot control officers and traffic constables watched from the sides of the road.

Speaking into the radio, the site commander said:

"Sir, they're heading towards the Senate building. If there's a riot, it could cause considerable damage to the Government District."

The reply soon came:

"Detain the troublemakers as they begin to pop up," said the person. "I'll get barricades set up around the Downtown Core."

The marching group of protesters were carrying prominent banners such as "GO BACK TO SAMOA MAKLOHI" and "BRITISH SENATORS GET OUT"

One patriot on the side burned a photo of Boris Johnson, to the cheers of many.

Robert Sovcan was driving by the protestors. He enjoyed his quiet morning drives before those loud days in the Senate. He saw the protestors and stopped his car about 100 meters in front of them. He read the banners, laughed and then yelled, "Our senators are Aurentines, you freaks! Get off the road!" He saw the burning portrait of Boris and laughed to himself, watching the protestors march towards him.

Senator Dhimitri Pelle went to Senator James Brit and said, "What the hell is going on here? What's with all these people?"

Senate Building

Senator Pope-Langley started running through the building, warning her colleagues of what she just heard about. After she managed to prod out one of the more stubborn senators, she couldn't help but ask, Does this happen often?

An American tourist walked by the protest. "Shit, maybe I should get out of here" he thought to himself as he noticed anti-foreign signs

Sen. Joshua Burchett was enjoying his daily walk from the train station to the Government District, when sound of the large crowd of unruly protesters became audible in the distance.

Senator Kruger leaned out a car window as his limousine moved through the city. "Hmm," he said, noting the noise and police clamour, "I wonder what's happening." He leaned back inside and took a sip of fine scotch.

Meanwhile, Inspector DeGroot, sitting inside a large van parked on Senate Circle, looked at a map of Leishaagen on his laptop.

"This was not going to end well," he thought to himself.

Meanwhile, constables in riot gear began placing crowd control barriers and positioning themselves near the Senate building.
