Wasn't RationalWiki meant as sort of mirror image of of Conservapedia? That's similar lulz, and not good srs source, but from opposite viewpoint.

But to be fair, it's not like NS is the only forum that's susceptible to this sort of thing. I've seen many others (but also some where the communities were nice). I suppose that's what you get when you gather people around a political campfire. Opinions clash, egos swell, things get ugly, and people leave/are made to leave.
