Just like white men here in the US who think we Latinos are going to steal their white women from them with our hot accents

My girlfriend is half-white and half Latina though and she looks more Latina, so I don't know how well that theory holds

Tell them you're latino AND white (well, you might not identify as one, but I surely would regard you as white) AND sexy and there is nothing they can do about that.

Or just say next time that "I am not Latino, nor white, nor African-American, but I am a hipster."

Welp, that was too much for my brain.

It's actually pretty simple, thanks to the fact that the metaphysics of rational meaning is linear, and the metaphysics of rational meaninglessness is just the opposite of the metaphysics of rational meaning.

Metaphysics is the study of the meaning of the world as a whole. The metaphysics of reason tries to discover the rational meaning of the world. It tries to answer the rational meaning of the world in terms of "Why?", which is given in terms of "Because", and then a reason, accessed through rational thought. The first cause, who is outside of the world and does not belong to the causal process, causes the world to exist for purpose of having human to recognize goodness. This recognition of goodness is the final purpose of the world, the purposeless purpose, which is outside of the teleological series. This idea owes its origins to Plato's Phaedo, who thought that Mind was the cause of the world, a self-moved mover, and the purpose of the world was making it better. He wrote that "It seems to me correct that the Mind is the cause of everything and I thought i this be so, then mind sets everything in order and arranges each thing in the way that is best for it.". Aristotle added onto this idea by suggesting that the teleological series ended in human beings, observing that everything around us was for our purpose. Boethius added more to the metaphysics of rational meaning by saying that the goodness of a thing in its essence is not the same thing as the goodness of a thing in practice. In other words, things realize goodness in existing as well as performing actions prior to their essence. Gottfried Leibniz added more by saying that you need to have 1) a purpose for the existence of the world and 2) a purpose for the nature of the world. He said that non-existence is worse than existence, so god brought the best possible world into being, one which contains rational souls (the product of the teleological series) whose final purpose is happiness, and loving and knowing god. As you can see, the first and final reason for the world are circular in that the first reason causes the final purpose, and the final purpose is in knowing and loving the first reason. The causal meaning, however, is more fundamental than the teleological meaning, because the intelligibility of the world depends on the first reason. Avicenna, another philosopher, finally explained the uncaused cause by arguing that its essence is identical with its existence. This was attacked by Hume, but Kant saved it in his transcendental metaphysics. Finally, Hegel accomplished the final state of rational metaphysics when he wrote Encyclopedia of Philosophical Sciences. He said that the absolute idea caused the world, which is split into nature and spirit, leading to the final contemplation of the absolute idea.

Walt Whitman's work shows the abandonment of this metaphysics because in the rational metaphysical poetry, rhyme and meter led up to a final line which ended in a way that made sense, but in his poetry, there was no rhyme or meter. You can also see this in fiction; During the epoch of the rational metaphysics, stories had an omniscient narrator with a series of events that led up to a happy ending. Soon, there were stories with no omniscient narrator, disconnected events, and no happy ending.

And that's why Walt Whitman's work shows the shift from the metaphysics of rational meaning to the metaphysics of rational meaninglessness.

Before I go, I want to say that while this is not my cup of tea, I still find it amazingly fascinating.
