Fans of real emo tend to be indie rock fans (even because most of real emo is/was indie anyway), and by the fashion they had, the kind of people who were into it and the small size of the scene also "hipster" by the Brazilian definition (that is lighter and less offensive than the American, meaning just people who like to be a taste butterfly in major things of life to give it a more contemporaneous and sophisticated air, what we don't see as non-authentic).

The Brazilian ones tended also be really, really mean. But as a 13-to-14-to-15-year-old I was annoying and fucked up so my opinion isn't reliable. xD

I wanted it because my Portuguese crush hottie at school was an emo boy and people said him was a fag and I thought it was bullshit and I was proud of men's liberation letting us become more "feminine" if it is our choice, and in the common sense of where I lived the "indies" were just a more sophisticated and blasé version of the emos.

Depends on your weight and how long you're drinking. It takes 11 minutes for alcohol to hit your system so keep that in mind if you want to get trashed.
