Yes, or rather an apparent lack of them. I'm troubled by the concept of an unamendable constitution.

Through the senate obviously, this is not some retarded american constitution fuckwitary. It is simply a bill like any other, but one that needs a slightly higher Yay vote than normal to amend and the name Constitution.

Then what's the point of calling it a Constitution?!

But it requires a process that is abysmal at best to do so.

I agree that the American process is too difficult, but if it can be amended by the Senate with a simple majority, there's not much point calling it a Constitution.

Amendment proposed, debate for months, pass the Senate, pass the House, has to be ratified by two-thirds of the provinces of the nation before a certain length of time or else the amendment is cancelled (even if you're one ratification shy). Rinse and repeat.

That is because the Constitutions is supposed to be something hard to change. That is half the point. Constitutions are supposed to include unalienable rights and the function of the government. Taking a long time not olny allows careful deliberation, but also notify the public over it more and more.

As for the provinces(states), that is part of being a federal system.

Except when there is a need to change the Constitution, in which case it can take much longer than is necessary to do so.
