Agreed. Playing it is great, but I can't. I'm not good at it and no one gives me a chance.
When you know how to play and are good at it, I am almost sure you have a connection with watching a game somehow. You know what's going on, it's not just a bunch of people chasing each other.
I watch games in the World Cup/Euro Whatchamacallit when I have time, but I'm still the guy that does the statistics. :p

I do stats for games as well, I can find that interesting.

But yeh the playing for 17 and at a reasonable standard for 9 of those years helps a lot.

Sometimes I feel like a bad person for losing interest in things and people. Usually I blame my boredom of people because of them not being interesting enough, but it seems kind of clear that the reason is that I'm just hooked on novelty.

How depressing.

And that's because you haven't heard me talk yet. While my Sino/Japanese accent isn't as thick as your average person's from around here, it's still pretty bad. I struggle with the /l/'s and insert vowels between consonants to make it easier for me.

Moving to an English-speaking country would not create that problem. You'd compensate with your awesomeness, and then the accent will become good.

Thank you! o/

But I understand that my brand of liveliness doesn't jive with most people.:/

North up the United Kingdom. I live in South Wales. Dialects tend to get more pronounces further up the UK you go. Generally speaking. There are areas in Wales though, like the valleys, where the Welsh accent is so thick you could stick a spoon in it.
