It's easy, the people there are used to everything killing them. Imagine the horror of being surrounded by mundane stuff, that would normally kill them where they come from, but is obviously harmless in a normal place. Should be easy enough from there.

This probably won't shock you, but we ony liste to Ron Burgundy. He is known to go down to the palace every day and speak with the king. He is considered by some the real king, but the actual king doesn't mind. He some times considers Ron above him and they go out for so Scotch.

We outlawed holidays in general. Private citizens may celebrate, but the state, businesses, and public places may not.
