We have other genre moves but it would take for ever to list them all.

Back to the patriotic thing, Aterians are expected to serve in the military for about 4 years before they are allowed to either retire or continue or move to reserve. A large part of our culture is based around the military as in our minds it shows that you have moved form an adolescent to an adult. About 2/4ths of the recruited class will move form active duty to reserve once their 4 years are up, mostly because we need people to work in the factories and other places
