Surprisingly, most of the rivers in Tekeristan are clean enough to drink from, if you ignore parasites, viruses, and bacteria.

They proved to be ideal cultivating grounds for a strain of deadly bacteria which proceeded to wipe out most of his army leaving him defenceless when said enemies returned and executed him via boiling alive.
