Why not just buy shares in CapTrans?

Because the Capital Transportation Commission is a government agency, not a government enterprise.

Because my operations are to be more than simply bus lines or acquiring non-existent shares. Bus lines are a start, next trains, ferries and a new regional airline.

I am sure the government would be happy to enter into negotiations about you running train services.

Ships will never have had their day, especially in archipelagos.

Would anyone support me if I made a motion to declare Ferries as the National Mode of Transportation? (kind of like declaring a national animal or plant)

After several complaints about confusing signalisation onboard commuter trains, the Capital Transportation Commission will be installing LED signs in the windows of its rolling stock in the next month.

The signs can alternate between three different frames, and are lit in a particularly bright orange.

The options programmed into the signs:

"Westenveüle Line"
"Wësterwaald/Lakeshore Line"
"Kasdal Line"
"Wiesen Line"

"Dir. Leissalm"
"Dir. Westenveüle"
"Dir. Kasdal South"
"Dir. Wiesen"
"Dir. Central"

"Not in Service"
"Happy Holidays" (to be used on any bank holiday that isn't Remembrance Day or Independence Day)
"Go Leishaagen FC"
"Special"
"Arrivals Only"
"Lest We Forget" (to be used on Remembrance Day)
"Aurentina, Stark en Freer" (to be used on Independence Day)

I'm leaving nationwide inter-city passenger and freight trains to Aurail. Commuter rail and some regional rail lines are where the money is.

Lets make an award for the most passed bills, and another for the most failed bills. I would be a shoo in for the second one (not that I am proud of that).

I compiled the "Most Passed Bills" award once back in July. Wolf won it with 6 passed bills (wtf how do I still remember that?).

You could do it again as part of the end of year awards. According to the hall of fame (which probably needs to be updated) I have five and you seven.

I'm positive I have more than seven. In fact, I can count more than that from the top of my head.

1A-Min. Foundation Act
1A-Limiting Legislation Act
1A-Broadcasting Act
Broadcasting Act
International Law Act
1A-Int. Law Act
2A-Int. Law Act
Responsible Gov. Act
Research and Astronomy Improvement Act
Social Justice Act
Transport Safety Act

(probably a couple more as well)
