Yesh, horrid looking buses. Will they be operating a "hail and ride" system?

Edit: Meet the new kid on the block.

(Yes, they are horrible, but it's the only right-hand drive minibus I could find that fits the needs of the CTC)

They will be used for four purposes:
1) Demand Responsive Transport, so yes, hail and ride.
2) Use on regular routes that see very low ridership
3) Use as a shuttle at outdoors festivals and other events
4) Use on special routes (ie schools)

I only support it because it's British made and mostly British designed apart from the engine which is merc. It looks horrible. But yes there are not many right hand drive minibuses.

I'd rather just import custom-ordered RHD Ford E450s from North America, but the cost would be astronomical, especially considering the relatively small number of such buses we need.

eew

That's just as bad, look's horrible. Usual american no design, box welded to a light bulbous box shaped truck just about covers it.

There is the Mercedes-Benz Cito, but that isn't built any longer. But yeah, they seem like the best bet.

Well, that's more personal preference I guess.

On hindsight, the E450 wouldn't make a very good CTC shuttle bus because it's not low-floor.

We're on the Mediterranean, right between France, Italy, and Spain. Also, know that I think of it. Can I get some of these Aurentine Maps and out them in the culture thread?

My school coach was a 50 odd seater and that's on the small side. Quite often double deckers are used on school routes where I live. That must be what? 11-14 seats?

I should be more specific. We're on the Mediterranean. Surrounded by water. We're a super large island.

That's impossible. There is no such bridge infrastructure.

EDIT: And you can't build that infrastructure either.

We had second hand Japanese buses that were not considered full until you had five people in the front door of the bus. Must have been a reminder of home for the Brazilian exchange students.

But getting back to the point, not all schools need big buses.
