At that point its better to just skip the assignment and pull an all nighter to build a time machine so you can go back in time a week or so and ave more time to work on the project. And then back a bit farther to kill Hitler.

yeah the scene where i live has never been too great

a few good alt rock bands here and there but that's it :/

To big a chance to cancel out your own existence. Hence why you have to kill Hitler in 1945, killing him between 146 and his death in 1987 involves a moon rocket as well as a time machine which is currently cost prohibitive for our budget.

1) i don't personally know any members of local bands (bar one, but they're on bloody hiatus)
2) i haven't come across any local bands actively searching for members
3) most of the bands in my area play styles of music i'm not that interested in playing myself

Actually, IIRC, the first one was pretty fucking inevitable. So you can pretty much only delay it. Delay it long enough, and it merges with the second. i.e., instead of one powder keg (to use the metaphor describing the situation in Europe pre-WWI) followed by another, you end up with two going off at once, or worse, further intensification (instead of two powder kegs, you get a nuke).

Ok I'd like to make a small announcement.
For awhile now I've been unemployed and having difficulty finding work for various reasons including a lack of an actual trade skill, then a few weeks ago I heard of this thing called the Gary Job Corps that'll actually train me and give me a trade so I can earn some real money instead of this minimum wage crap.

So I signed up for it and apparently I'm in, I'm supposed to get a call on the 5th of November to tell me what do to from there.
I'm telling you all this because I don't know how much I'll be able to get on while I'm there as it's apparently really regimented but they do have computers and internet there (Sweet!) so we'll see.

So don't anyone start thinking I'm dead or I've quit NS because I love this place, and wish me luck.
